Deacon 1357 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 When the morons replaced my windscreen they damaged a number of the square headed clips that hold the plastic scuttle panel on. I have new clips to replace them but I'm not sure how to remove the old ones - anyone know? Cheers!
Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2015 The clips are removed by squeezing the tangs together under the metal panel. It's not obvious at first glance, but soon becomes apparent. As for removing them from the plastic scuttle, I will look into this for you and post the answer here.

Guest Report post Posted April 10, 2015 Right then, here's how it all goes..the black square part you see on top has a pin going down through a white plastic ring with barbed clips on it. the barbed clips are squeezed together to enable the whole panel to be removed from the sheet metalwork. Once the scuttle panel is off, the black "peg" can simply be pushed out backwards through the white part. The whole assembly needs to be removed to enable the black square part to be replaced.Hope this helps..
