Ah, didn't think about windows....still no idea about that....sorry Well on android phones, if you enter the Bluetooth list of connected device, I can enter the extra setting for the head unit connection and besides choosing to unpair or rename that device, you can untick the option to use the phone for phone calls or media. Windows phones have a setting called driving mode which when activated recognises the connection by bluetooth and turns everything off apart from calls and texts. Job sorted!
