Twigman 93 Report post Posted August 4, 2016 So i have a solution to carry my kayak! - to be revealed one day.... To be secure I need to tie down both bow and stern with ratchet straps. The best point to secure these are the towing eyes ( all 3 - 2 on rear and one on front ) As you all know our cars come with just the one. I know some of you have bought fancy alloy towing eyes so you must have the standard ones going spare, haven't you? And I'll wager I'm the only one of us likely to want to carry a kayak... So what say you to giving your std towing eyes a new home?
