    Northern monkey

Hey all, I'm Mark from Clitheroe, oop north in Lancashire. I've added a quick build thread but thought I'd say hi Some of you may know me already from over on GT86OC but about time I started posting here too.
  2. The car is a 2013 Pearl White manual TRD model with the 18" alloys, body kit, quad exhaust and leather etc. It has a full Toyota main dealer service history and recently had its second service only a thousand miles or so ago. The car has all the usual features of a TRD which include heated seats, cruise control, climate control, touch screen CD player, automatic xenon/HID headlights, keyless entry/start, electric folding mirrors, Bluetooth etc Current mileage is around 20,000 miles. I'm asking for £19250 as a standard car and has a Toyota warranty until 25th March 2018 so you have no worries there. I am based in Lancashire. The reg plate is not included with the sale. The car is now back to standard so it has the standard lights and brakes on. For anyone interested, the mods I have available for sale if people would like them are (anything not listed has already been sold): HKS Hypermax IV GT coilovers with pillowball top mounts and shortened front drop links - circa 3,000 miles on them £900 Japspeed carbon fibre strut brace - £40, as new Tomei Expreme-Ti titanium front pipe - Brand new in box, never fit. See separate listing. Tomei stainless overpipe All the best, Mark
  3. Crazy isn't it! The chap who bought it said he's selling loads of them at the mo. He's just got in the last unregistered Giallo and has also ordered one of the new models for the showroom, I think he said it was called a Blanco, all white with a red stripe or something. No idea!
  4. LMAO thanks pal The good thing is I'm allowed to drive again (as of a couple of months ago, docs given me the all clear) so I'm ordering a new facelift A45, can't wait! 3 months and counting....
  5. Sold. Not one single viewer I sold it into the trade hassle free
  6. As per the title, brand new in box with all gaskets etc Tomei expreme stainless steel overpipe http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/product.php?xProd=25393&xSec=8489 I'm asking for £220 collected or I can post for an additional cost. For reference I also have a brand new tomei titanium front pipe listed, if you take both items I'll include postage for free.
  7. yep, daft isn't it? I've seen multiple cars sold that have been the same specs, higher mileage, older and/or not the same spec as mine and they've sold instantly, for more money and have been local to me and advertised after mine. Makes no sense whatsoever but hey ho. I'm 99% sure it's going Monday/Tuesday to a trade contact I have so meh... taken a bit of a hit but it saves me aggro so nevermind! Now I just need to find something to drive for 3 or 4 months until the AMG arrives :\ lol
  8. As per the title, these are my HKS Hipermax IV GT coilovers supplied new by Abbey Motorsport. They've done around 3,000 miles on the car and come with everything they should including C spanners, damping adjustment tool, shortened front drop links, adjustable top mounts and rear shock bush inserts. The GT model have a comfortable spring rate that's not out of place on a daily driver which is why I opted for them. New they retail for about £1500. I'm looking for £900 for a quick sale. They've not been adjusted from factory specs so the ride height is out of the box along with damping settings. I've given them a quick two minute clean to show the condition, feel free to PM
  9. Sold - Payment received and coilovers delivered locally. Remaining parts still available: Brand new never fit, Tomei stainless steel overpipe. Japspeed carbon strut brace (as new) Hardrace diff support bar All other parts have gone. Please see listings/PM for more details on any of the above.
  10. As per the title, brand new in box with all gaskets etc http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/product.php?xProd=25242 This is over 4kg lighter than the standard setup and gives an amazing exhaust tone being titanium. I'm asking for £350 collected or I can post for an additional cost. For reference I also have a brand new tomei stainless steel overpipe listed, if you take both items I'll include postage for free.
  11. Sold - payment received. Stainless overpipe is still available though, brand new. See my other listing
  12. Weirdly I've not yet had any viewers yet I have seen other cars (including locally) of the same specs sell quickly and for more money. Have I priced it too cheap for a TRD so people think there's a problem and are put off?! The car is fine and by all means if you'd rather pay more, I won't say no Feel free to come and view it guys, don't be shy
  13. Car is still available, not been able to get it advertised elsewhere with work commitments yet but now it's time to get it advertised and listed properly Standard reg plate is now back on the car and it's ready to rock as and when.
  14. I was never able to get any decent pics on my phone, a photographer explained the reason to me once and was something to do with certain colours in the spectrum so they never actually showed in the correct colour they always came out more blue. Here's a pic with the re-done logos A better pic of the colour before graphics I don't really have many of the original wheels as the graphics were getting a bit tatty but this is one the previous owner took which shows the standard white and blue combo The graphics just seem to set the wheels off a tad, it really is a shame there's no decent pics of the finished wheels when they were purple lol
  15. okay so the BB doesn't like my link... go onto google images and search for frs trd blitz quad tomei crazywookie Haha don't ask, just look at the second pic that comes up to see what I mean LMAO
  16. mate that's epic, just lol'd at plastidipping the bootlid, that's quality. I love people who aren't scared to just get stuck in! RE: the Rotas, I know exactly what you mean but have you thought about some as simple as having custom graphics made up for the spokes to make it a little unique? this is a marmite mod but check this: I also did something kiiiiiinda similar on my old TE37's on my S15. I re-painted them in what I can only describe as cadburys purple and had the Volk & Rays graphics re-made in gold with a black background and again, another marmite mod but I'd say 80% of the people that saw it in the flesh absolutely loved it and was definitely a bit different to the usual boring "scene" stuff you tend to see
  17. Ps. The rota grids all day long dude, not feeling them others against the car, they look a little too... "90's max power" for my liking haha. I absolutely love what you've done with the car, the only thing for me I can't take to is the black bootlid, personally I'd love to see that in yellow too but the car as a whole looks great and that colour is lush! Good choice that bonnet is sweet with the vents left black
  18. No mate, I absolutely loved the drive home today (even though the standard brakes are like cheese compared to those k sports!) but I'm in the mindset that it's going now as I wasn't expecting to be able to drive so soon again. I love the car but I've gone through the aggro of putting it back to standard and that it's going kinda thing so I've been looking at new A45's and S3 saloons as a realistic, possibly a couple of year old C63 and take the hit on the fuel costs or ultimately depending on how a couple of investments pull off over the next month and after the mortgage renewal... A GTR but that's a very long shot and a slim chance funds will permit. I do love the 86 but I've decided life is too short, you can't take it with you so why not have a bit of fun
  19. Looking good pal I'm allowed to drive again as of Wednesday so finally got the GT back out on the road and damn.... It feels so crap as a standard car! Definitely not as nice to drive without the brakes or spacers! I'm glad they found a good home! Did you fit them yourself in the end? Easy job isn't it? Haha
  20. No mate, never touched. It never even had the exhaust parts fit, they're brand new and boxed. The only thing the car has had whatsoever that is linked with the engine is a K & N panel filter but even this isn't really a performance mod, it's just better quality than the standard panel filter and they're re-usable so it saves £33 when the car is serviced by not needing to replace the air filter
  21. No mate, strictly road use only I bought it last May time from John Roe Toyota in Scunthorpe with around 7k miles on and it had just had it's first service there. The car has been with me since then and has recently had its second service at my local Toyota dealership so it's a full main dealer history. RE: parts... I used to be a mechanic myself so I've done a few bits myself and most was simple bolt on stuff like rear lights, strut brace, master cylinder brace etc and some parts were never even fit to the car as I fell ill. The car will however be going into a garage shortly to get it on the ramps and have them re-fit the original suspension and check alignment. I'll be getting this work booked in to be done next week.
  22. I don't have any pics yet but I was actually given the all clear to drive again yesterday so I'm away this weekend with the mrs to celebrate so while I'm up in the lakes I'll try and get some pictures for you. There are no scratches or dents on the car however there are a few stonechips as you'd expect for a two year old car. I must stress though, the price is the price on this as it's several thousand cheaper than the cheapest TRD on autotrader so I don't want to waste your time expecting to get it cheaper as it's already a bargain at this price just to save you the hassle
