I would of gone but other half wants to go to Italia day at Prescott Hill Climb on the Saturday, see link. She has a Fiat 500 so I have to go to some events to get pass for GT stuff! https://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/events/la-vie-en-bleu-italian-day

    Bob the budget GT86

Ride is great but firm feels really planted now. It sits a lot better being 20mm lower and my wife who is not into cars could tell straight away how nice it looked. Worth to round trips to Macclesfield to RRG as Richard and his team have looked after us and car ready and set up. They managed to get 2 degrees camber with Eibach bolts which was more than what they thought would get. EDFC Active is great and will have a proper play with settings at some point tomorrow but was set on manual mode and I changed it to auto and it does make a difference.

I will let you know how it turns out as I have looked into different set ups and talked through with Tein. I have been in Lauren's car and the ride was excellent and so much better than than stiffer springs and anti roll bars. Standard dampers don't work properly in my experience with after market springs. I need my car to handle well with out a to racy set up for road and track. With the adjustability of EDFC it should fit the bill. Being a paraplegic, I drive with hand controls so having the car balanced for driving with one hand on wheel and the other using the throttle/brake lever is a must. Street Advance are rebuildable so you can change the damping to suit your needs and as Lauren said come with 5kg springs but no pillow ball mount as they fit to standard mounts. Change camber with camber bolts but only limited change.

    Lauren's GT86 100K miles and onwards

I agree with you, after having mine remapped it made a world of difference especially with auto box and getting it done on dyno.
  7. The issue is is not to be to wrapped in the figures it's how you want your car to perform and what you are using it for. It's the same when changing exhaust and air filter for the ecu map to match so you get the best from upgrades working together. I have noticed in sport mode with auto (4.67) you are changing down a lot earlier than you might want to so its gaining in accelerating but losing out in braking. Which would be fine in tight track/road but keep in normal mode for longer less twisty track. It will be interesting to see how performs on the first two sprints at Blyton.
  8. Best speak to Mike at TD for labour cost plus oil and pinion seal.
  9. Sam it's not that bad and Fensport fitted it and I did check with them about whine. Have a chat and drive out when I see you at TD day and see what you think.
  10. On auto has put revs up by about 400/ 500rpm and fuel consumption dropped by 3mpg only on long run. Worth noting though you do get small whine noise being helical gear but not as loud as straight cut but it's not to intrusive.
  11. Hi Mike I have 4.67 fitted on my auto and makes the car a lot more drivable
  12. Total biker Kev, still follow all racing, WSB from Thailand was on this morning!

    Tyres to suit 17x8 rims?

On my GT I run Yokohama 105 225 on 17 x 8 and really like them. I had conti 5's on BMW and they were good road tyre but prefer yoko's. Out of intrest on my new Beemer it came with Bridgestone Potenza S001 and not as good in cold weather as either yoko's or Conti 5's (225 x17).
  15. Ok cool, cu there and have a spin so you can see what final drive ratio change is like
  16. I might drive back with you as staying night before at my dads in Lytham, driving back to Cheltenham after. M6 was bit of a carpark last event

Was great little meet up and showing how hand controls work and not as easy as it looks bit like playing car game on Xbox. Looking forward to TD meet in March!
