Looks nice that, love a single exit
Looks a little similar to my Tomei aaaaaand if the N1 is anything to go by it's probably just as loud
Edit: Pipe diameter isn't as wide so maybe it will be a little more sensible, looks like it would come out of the other side too so it's certainly a different option.

yea 9.5 et38, I've got -2.5 and -2 rear.
You could definitely use the offset bushes instead if you want.

If you do to follow the guide I posted at all @ABs_GT, bear in mind that the pictures are of an old version on the light and you probably have a version like me. The concept is the same, the wires are just different. If you get stuck at all, look further down the thread and you will see people explaining exactly what to do with the new version to match the old.
Good luck

Not sure about the bumper light loom on the car, sorry.
It seems like you're trying to achieve what I've got, I followed this guide http://www.86forums.com.au/index.php?/topic/1634-valenti-reversing-light-v-as-position-light-mod/ where I changed the wiring inside and then the extra red wire just went into the headlights/position wire on the tail lights, think it was the blue one as you say (can check by following the red wire of the car loom through the plugs.
This gives me just the V on with the headlights, and the fog and reverse working normally. I have no fog flashing at all.

2 hours ago, Knighty said:But this makes me wonder. What sort of difference in camber would you have on the rear compared to the front if you were to stick with stock rear arms on say a 35-40mm drop? Anyone have an idea?
Depends what camber you put up the front
Because of my wheel fitment I wanted a couple of degrees on the rear to bring the wheels into the arches, plus I just couldn't handle them being different/not properly done. I viewed LCAs as a must buy with the coilovers.
Not sure about the holes off the top of my head but if that's where the adjuster attaches then they must do because I have the Cusco adjuster fitted...

Welcome along. That is a bummer it's only for 6 months, better make the most of it haha!

Didn't take long

Haha, I didn't mind the LED rings on the rear lights but that aside they made me feel sick
-
Probably worth mentioning that I'm sure I remember reading the S-Wave ones have had a revised version released since I got them, making them stronger

Welcome to the club, quite a few members round your way
Any further plans for the car?

Yea I remember the good ol' days when new maps etc were free on PC. Most games now cost £90 odd by the time you own the 'full' game lol

Does that mean you have played the new one or...?
I thought it was really good although I didn't get very far before I stopped playing it. Single player games just don't hold my attention anymore. I'd still play through the originals though.
It's a bit of a shame the multiplayer development was outsourced imo, feels obviously different to the single player (not as good).

They must have messed up that first year quote, it's amazing that you got it that cheap. Hell, £1,600 is still mighty cheap for your age with 1 year NCB, £2.5k although silly is what I'd expect you to get quoted.
When I was your age with 3 years NCB I was paying over a grand to insure an 8V Golf
Getting a parent involved is probably your best bet man, good luck

Nice, I might have to look into it again then although saying that I'll likely not bother if it requires any more effort than buying something and screwing it in lol

Haha yea I've had tow strap for over a year now that I wanted mainly for looks tbh but it seems you can't bloody fit straps properly and easily to the front of our cars. I was hoping to find some sort of extension that comes out like a tow hook but then you have the strap hanging down, I guess a thick ended bolt with a thread inside it but had no luck finding anything of the sort.
I might look at this Raceseng thing or failing that maybe I could just find a REALLY long bolt and just screw it in as far as it'll go
-
Yea I keep thinking about just removing my spring altogether and seeing what that's like. I've read of people doing that and liking it, might not be the best if you sit in lots of traffic though.
