Little addition courtesy of Mark-in-stock arrived yesterday.

I'm just over 6'3 and long drives can give me aches. I find if I recline the seat more that helps on motorway miles.

Welcome along, I also bunged up the sound tube and last weekend ripped it out and fitted a samco intake hose.
what wheels have you gone for?
-
Watched this last night, great to see them finally matched up, just a shame the porka was on much more track biased rubber.
-
Beautiful work, do you have a lathe at home? If so I'm infinately jealous!
-
Thanks for the kind words, I am talking with Rob before I give any prices. Don't want to cause problems. Anyone interested keep an eye out as I'm sure there will be some info soon.

Trimmed my dash pod last night, slowly getting there with my changes inside. Steering wheel is coming along too.

Started my next bit of trim this week, will be interesting to see how the steering wheel looks in alcantara.
Then today I installed a samco intake hose and removed the noise generator, seeing as I've had it blocked since a few days into ownership. Looks much cleaner now.

Speedhunters kmsh kit? https://store.speedhunters.com/product/km4sh-full-bodykit/
Have a look at Nigel's thread as to what's required for fitting.
-
How long will this run? I won't be in a position to pay in full until the new year.
-
Best check mine for disintegration as well, thanks for the heads up.
-
For me it was the styling, both interior and exterior. 5 year warranty played a small part in my choice too.
-
There are ways round it, but the "trap door" on our dash will not have been designed to break through a material cover. I have a 458 airbag cover on my bench at work and they have scored a line into the leather and have a "trap door" designed to break the leather.
Personally I'm not prepared ro compromise safety in someone else's car, it's a shame as an alcantara dash would look so good, would make the interior feel like a much more luxury car.
I am going to be trimming a few bits in mine as and when I get the chance and will update on here as I do.
-
Ooh, Alcantara trimmed race dash?? Sounds nice??
Should be no problem, assume you won't have airbags in your dash?
How much would that be roughly AJ?
need to look at how the air bag deploys on the passenger side, there not something to mess around with imo.
-
Sadly we don't have a flocking machine, will happily trim it for you?
Great, I had actually forgotten I'd spoken to you about those. Will drop you a pm.
-
If you are getting into carbon parts Nigel, will your
rocketNigel bunny kit be made in carbon?Absolutely love your build, keep up the good work.
-
Very nice sir!

Are they my old wheels?
I think so, bought them from Adam on here?
-
Haha, happy to help if anyone wants something trimming.
Have also got a tomei uel coming from another member, one I fit that I will most likely get the car mapped.
Deacon reacted to this -
Did it myself, kinda helps it's my job ;), I absolutely love how it looks, need to loose the rest of the silver now. In time I'll be changing all the cheapo vinyl parts for alcantara too, looks much more classy imo.
Deacon reacted to this -
Haven't updated this for a long time. Have now bought a second set of wheels, work emotion cr Kai 17x8 with federal rsr for track use. Have just fitted 4 Pirelli P Zero Nero on the stock wheels for daily use.
I have never been a big fan of the effect on the dash facia or the silver trim inside the car, so started attacking it with alcantara this week.

Even if expensive .. shouldn't car still have warranty and replace happening at no cost to you?
It will be covered, the dealer however will want approval from Toyota HQ to ensure they get paid for the work.
Squadrone Rosso, I hope this all gets sorted and becomes a distant memory.

HIC roof visor
in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts

Selling my HIC roof visor as I have changed my plan for the exterior, bought from Tarmac Sportz earlier in the year. Will need new double sided tape and there is a tiny chip in one corner, i dropped it trying to remove it on my own ;( few very light scuffs from storage that will likely polish out, have tried to photo them but there very hard to see.
£50 collected and probably about £10 to post with my hermes.
Location GU6.
