That sounds cheap! Both my local dealers wanted £169.

im in old coulsdon where are you a bouts
I'm over in Cranleigh. Can't suggest any audio places unfortunately as I've always done my own. The oem+ gets good reviews though.

Hi Gremlin welcome to the club, hope your enjoying the car. Sound system is a good upgrade as the stock one is poor. Where abouts in Surrey are you based?

Off topic but do you know what front lip that is?

Hi all, hope you all had a good Xmas. Thought I'd start this as I've booked a trackday at silverstone on the 6th March as its only £150 on trackdays.co.uk at the moment. Just incase a fellow 86 owner fancies it.

Thanks for the link, got some on the way.

Tom's lights are very tempting... Was hoping the carbon starter panel was going to be in the sale .

Cheers Jay, very happy with the kit, well put together.

Another little update, bought a team voodoo gearknob . Sits a little lower and doesn't have the irritating stitch line.

OMG, you have dirt on your suspension components!!! Shame on you AJ!!
Haha I know, I did contemplate giving it all a quick wipe. Then just went out on my mtb.
Are you fitting a front bar to go along with the rear?
Beefing up the rear bar over stock will give you more oversteer - assume you know this.
Not planning on it, I am just trying it too see if it reduces the understeer, if it goes too far the other way I shall re think my ideas. Anyway oversteer is more fun

Thanks for the advise and part numbers, Abbey are a breeze to deal with, will let Scott know you gave me the info on the bushes when I order them.

Great progress, were the diff bushes straight forward to fit? i.e. could they be done on the car?
-
Wow, there soft! I might as well accept the inevatible and order a full fully bush kit...

Cheers Nigel, I've got a lot of admiration for your project, so I'm glad your enjoying my thread.
To a certain extent, can feel the car move a little bit when engaging fist at standstill (In a positive way, it's not unnerving).
Would like to hear your thoughts on the diff inserts once you have driven it, they are on my maybe list.

Awesome work, love the little ally plug.

Great pictures, such an impressive aircraft to see in action. I would also be up for a meet/photoshoot.

Finally got round to fitting my rear subframe inserts, relatively straight forward took about an hour on the driveway.
Has made a noticeable difference to how the rear feels, can feel what the back ends up too much better than before.
It also appears to have stopped the back "crashing" over sudden bumps and jolts.
Although I think I need to get the car turning in a bit sharper now... Amd the slippery slope gets steeper.

I have the same washer and use this foam lance:

And this snow foam, although since I bought 5L a couple of years ago There might be better products available. But it's always done the job for me, hope this helps.

And I mix it as the bottle says too.
