    Exhaust query

Will do a before and after Let's put it this way. My old 350z was recorded at 110dBs TRACKSIDE at Castle Combe last year. That's a good 30ft away from the actual car Here's a video to give you an idea, although in real life it's obviously a lot louder [TUBE] [/TUBE] I like volume, as long as it's not raspy or drones in the car on motorway journeys. From my experience, if you have quality parts like I did on the 350z and on the GT86 now, volume isn't an issue inside the car Booked in to get a custom straight mid pipe made up on Saturday, will post videos after and see what we think

    Smudge's supercharged V8 build

Quick video of the exhaust now, need to get a flyby to get the real noise. But a big improvement over standard! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSRxrlwOppk She likes to smoke... And de-badge the rear also, much better without the Toyota and GT86 badges
  5. Didn't get a chance to get on the simulator queue was always massive Not impressed with the "limited edition", no real effort put into that Love the T-Shirt picture

Berk are a good make from previous experience Although I knew a couple of guys on the 350z forum that blew through a HFC or 2 with high powered SC'd cars

    Smudge's supercharged V8 build

More bits waiting for me when I got home from work - Berk high flow cat and overpipe Overpipe: High flow cat: Comparison of old vs new Deletes the 2 OEM cats which are very restrictive, and also weighs noticeably less Had a few issues with fitting at the start. Berk HFC has a flat connection: And the mid pipe of the Invidia has a conical connection: So it was blowing like a bitch Then, I realised I was being a massive bellend took the cone gasket off the standard exhaust And stuck it on the Berk high flow cat... Ta-dah! All fitted now, so my exhaust is: Borla unequal length (UEL) headers Berk overpipe Berk high flow cat Invidia Q300 exhaust Gives a gorgeous Boxer rumble, but isn't loud until you gun it. Will get videos soon

    Tyres and wheel nuts

So, the Rays have arrived (check my progress thread - WARNING, not safe for work, may need tissues) and now it's time to contemplate tyres and wheel nuts Tyres - I used to love Falken 452's, but they've been discontinued. I'm looking at 255/35/18. Any recommendations? Wheel nuts - obviously wanting tuner nuts, nothing overly expensive but obviously want quality

    Smudge's supercharged V8 build

Made a visit to a friend with a lift to get the UEL headers fitted today Looks like the box was made for the boot?! Up on the ramps Old headers New headers Comparison of the 2 Can start to hear the boxer engine burble, but until the cats are taken out, it's still a fairly quiet system. Cats should be out soon, just waiting on parts to arrive from the USA Bonnet dampers fitted Makes the bonnet sit fairly high, but much better than the stupid prop thing And finished the evening off with a well deserved clean, mandatory snowfoam picture

    200ft bungee jump for charity

Keethos, I've done Go Ape and know exactly what you're on about. My groin was a bit worse for wear after that jump/swing! The video doesn't really do it justice as to how far down I travelled, must have been a good 120ft before the bungee tightened and I was travelling back up to the sky. And then you're in freefall again for a few seconds, it's just a totally insane experience! I'd love to do one over a river off a bridge, and see how close to the water you could get
  24. Guys/gals On Sunday 15th June I'll be completing my 1st ever bungee jump, all in aid of 2 UK charities I would appreciate if you could donate whatever you can towards my cause in the link below http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/JordanWade1 Wish me luck for Sunday!
