  1. Hi everyone,Long story short, I had a plastic storage box slam into the car and caused these 3 dents. One on the door and another 2 on that door sill below it.The thing is, I can't see how the rear of these can be accessed to push the dents back out.Can these be fixed and if so how? Thanks in advance.

Can these dents be fixed? How?

Hello both, Thanks. Unfortunately the repair shop found that the paint under the dent is cracked, about 1 cm. It's not visible in the pictures and I wasn't aware of it up till then. I guess PDR is out of the question then btw... Yes the sill can be accessed from the wheel arch. The door from the inside after removing the plastic panels. Given these, it seems PDR involves much more work and risk of further damage. And yes the detail repair shop said they'll weld copper pins onto the dent to pull them out. They were doing it to another car inside at the time. And yes the quote is just over £400
  3. Posted this on other forums so I thought it's worth sharing my experience here too: I took my car in for MOT which failed due to a Major Defect. I was told that I was not allowed to drive the car home and had no choice but to leave it there for a few days and pay in excess of £1,200 to have the brake system replaced on one side. According to the DVLA a Major Defect doesn't stop a car from being able to be driven, only a Dangerous Defect does. Furthermore, I still have a fortnight of MOT validity when it happened. I wasn't even allowed to go to my car to retrieve personal items I then raised an official complaint with Toyota UK's Customer Relations team who then simply forwarded it on to the dealer without providing me any reference number etc. I replied to ask for a reference number but received no reply. The manager at the service centre promised to investigate the issue but didn't get back to me, even if he did I wouldn't expect much as it isn't an independent investigation conducted by Toyota UK. Bottom line is as many here have told me I have been taken advantage in an unfair manner. I have exhausted all reasonable routes to get this resolved to no avail. I wouldn't want anyone else to be put through the stress that I was. By the way, the service section has no viewing window glass pane and I did see their technicians being very rough with other customer cars, e.g. crunching gears, driving them very aggressively into the building etc. Just stating the facts.... Last by not least, check out the complaints they've received from other customers on their own FB page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/toyotasandhurst/reviews
  4. Hello all,I've been using Liqui Moly Ceratec after every oil change since I got the vehicle. I thought of switching to Slick 50 Synthetic Engine Treatment. Is it OK to switch brands like this? Thanks.

    Any idea what this is...?!

PIN entry pad. If you lose your wireless key fob, open the car door with the manual key and enter your 4 digit PIN here then press the start button to start the car. Your PIN code is on 2 pieces of silver stickers on the manual and other stuff that came with the car.
