    Keethos's Car

Can't really see if there was a trigger it just appeared to let go and spin, much like the BMW I think it was Clarkson was driving albeit with a shed load less BHP. He was right to stay of the grass but there was a nice area to play with still a surprise though I suspect.

    Performance brake pads?

Possibly not had really cold weather to try have used them in just above 0 and ok , I think it be hard to find a performance pad that is both good stone cold and hot. I did research a bit when I bought these and it's pretty subjective really reading all the reports in the end I just bought something to see pads are easy to change (though some are costly!), that said easy to swap out if not happy, probably worth trying Keethos brakes first thing and see what you think.

Thanks Always wanted a JL sub it's my first had some MTX, MBQuart subs along the way. Need to spend a little time getting it setup and pop a setting into each of the DSP memories, will wait until I've run it all for a bit. Move the DSP controller this evening so it's up front Does now highlight poor quality mp3's etc....... Some are dreadfully recorded.

    Thoughts on Blue wheels?

I prefer the colour of them in the outdoor shots to the close up indoor shots does look like, agree it's nice they have a variation in colours with the light.

    Performance brake pads?

I run Stoptech's pads and disc's. First coupe push's of the pedal in the morning they don't have the same bite as when they are warmed up of course, but not in an OMG I going to pile into the back of the cars at the lights way more of a a bit more push on the pedal, pleased with them wet, dry, track or road, seem a good all rounder, probably should add my car is NA doesn't have any performance add ons.

    Thoughts on Blue wheels?

Look forward to a picture of them on the car, I also think a matching stripe could work.

    Thoughts on tyres

I've chosen F1 and run them currently and am pleased with what that give thus far, I've not yet tried them on a trackday yet to see how they fare there and hope they dont delaminate , they were used at Millbrook and the outer shoulders are quite well roughed up so it will be interesting to see how the go long term with a bit of track work. When these have expired I'll probably try something else not that I have an issue with F1 (currently) but nice to try other stuff probably also try the V105 next time around

Now this has arrived my install is finished bar the running in then a proper tune, that said I cannot under estimate how happy I am with the sound improvement and it's a nice DIY install.

No I wouldn't have wanted a delay but I bought used It is nice though that there are after market options likes this that make a difference. I did cheat I was going to do it myself like the ICE install, but as it was heading to RRG made sense to take the easy route

The bluetooth removes most if not all of the mid-range quite a strange sound, didn't notice the difference with the stock setup. I am going to have a go a setting up myself first if it's not sounding right then I'll book in for a tune, will set the PC up later on and have a look around at the options.

Thanks, need to sort the sub first then it will be listener ready, assuming it sounds ok, i've dialled out some of the noise think the gains were a bit north, need to rerun the eq setup and connect the processor to the computer and see what's what , might have a look after the F1. Thanks, Focal K2 Power at the front, I am not using the same sub no, I've a JL to go in just waiting for the enclosure to arrive. Did a little dynamating behind the front speakers but not a full door cover at this point that might be one in the future Been out for a few hours this morning things I've learn't gains a bit high, bluetooth sounds awful compared to using the USB port, and that a decent set of fronts with a good amp makes a massive difference even without a subwoofer, though I am looking forward to adding that in.
