Hi Adam,
We'll be offering power runs for the day for anyone that wants to, same as we did last time for those that attended.
Cost will be reduced from £60.00 to £40.00 per car.
Thanks
Any chance of doing a run on mine for this price, although I can't make it on the day

Just seen this on a well known auction site
-
Just a thought, have you tried selling them on a Gtr forum (if there is one !)
-
Nice info Nigel , you are certainly putting in all the work behind the mods rather than just cutting it all away.
Hope your not throwing those "old " wheels away lol
-
Done Thanks buddy.
That's a shame! There will be other times though
I may call in next week for a coffee and a chat as I am off work with the sprogs
-
Looks like I am now going to be at the opposite end of the country so can't make it
-
Mad lol good work!
Not sure if you have already said Nigel but when do you think it will be finished ? Or will it be done when it's done type of build.

I have to agree with Deacon, don't let 1 person spoil it for everyone else here
+1. Keep it up Nigelr32

I put a deposit on it on friday and will collect it on Wednesday
May not been the one I thought it was,a guy called Dan was selling his.

Wow! some great parts coming up best check the piggy bank.
OT. Have you bought the DC2 in the last few weeks ?

Cheers

I remember the AD08's were effectively the next size up with the square profile. Your right , I will have to get a wider rim to suit the 225's.Having watched a few videos comparing tyres on the '86 I will probably stay on 215's.
Thanks forum gurus!

Theres more info and pics on the twitter feed, looks promising

About time ! hopefully they will get one out on Rally GB this year.
Rab and Tareim reacted to this -
Has anyone tried these yet ? I was talking to a guy running a big power Scooby on 1A tyres who said they were very good in the dry but not so good in the wet. Also have stiff side walls. They come in 225/45/17 so should fit the original wheels?
Thoughts ?

Thanks Lauren, I have found that the primacys are fine...for now.
Just waiting on tyre lists for next year.
-
Are you on the Primacy's still Lauren ? I have used mine on a sprint and didn't think they are as slippery as people make out ? Or do they over heat easily.
-
Have Abbey tried one yet ? maybe interested in the 250.
-
Do you have any better pictures with them fitted, also why do they need spigot rings.

I drove from Manchester to Pont Aven in Brittany a few weeks back, it was in the family SMax but it was very enjoyable drive.
The traffic flows very well and it's mostly 2 lanes, I think us Brits could learn a thing about lane usage !!
I have never fancied such a long trip before but now looking at WRC Spain and Le Mans next year if I can persuade Mrs Shiftspark to stay at home and my youngest petrol head can have a road trip.
Great write up Lauren.

I thought that the early cars had the newer maps done at a service to fix the earlier running issues ??
