The WRC cars run with half arches so there must be a reason for it aside looks ?

The heated seats are ok but wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either, I wanted alcantara seats and it wouldnt have been an issue if they weren't heated.

On the picture that Nige put up, does the switch wiring go into the plug thats to the left of the hand brake ?

Its a great read this Nigel ! Do the valves have raised lettering on them or is it just the picture ? I used to spend many hours lapping valves in by hand on my classic race mini and used pencil to check the seat. Did you used to build engines in the past or is it "just" your passion as you seem to know what your doing !!

No idea on camera but I think you can ask for them without lines Auto comes on in reverse Mines not brill at night but good enough not to hit anything (yet ?!) I bought my camera of ebay and harness from a guy in america, ae64.com it took a couple of weeks and cost less than £20 and is easy to fit.

How do you clean the screen ? or does it keep it clean and keeps the moisture off as this would be of some benefit.

Good write up especially for people looking to buy an 86.

My front screen does the same which is a pita, I think it's because it does short journeys and never gets chance to dry out inside not because of leaks just condensation.
