    Taking off private plate question

Is normally pretty straight forward, pay the fee and do it all online. They will then assign a new reg to the vehicle and provide you with docs to get plates etc made up Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

    Blown Engine?

Quite common for manufacturers to not warranty remaps. One of the few is Ford and Mountune but they are manufacturer approved ( only on performance remaps or kot not racing remaps or packages) Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Sounds good. Just need to make sure we don't clash with anything else that's on up there. I know ford guys use it regularly so do a jap Vs German lot. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Club Events for the rest of 2019

A few years ago one of my old clubs (Hyundai coupes) arranged a meeting at brooklands and we couldn't work out why we needed to fill in a risk assessment and all meet at a certain gate at the same time. Turned out they parked us on display right by the entrance before we all went to the pub for lunch. Was a really good day. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

    Window Stickers

Has anyone done or can do the club stickers but to go on the inside of the windows rather than the outside? Like the Subaru owners club one in the image? Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Advice pls - 6th Gear synchro gone

I would go for the rebuild of your existing box. Normally you get at least 6 months warranty on the rebuild. Even if you got a box out of a crash damaged low mileage car if it was in gear with the clutch not depressed the gearbox can be damaged from the impact Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

    Badger's BRZ

I picked up my 2015 BRZ back in November 2018 direct from Subaru in Cambridge with 14k miles on the clock. I am the 2nd owner as the 1st owner sold the car back to Subaru as he was unable to drive it due to ill health. I attended the Museum of Power Cars and Coffee event less than 24 hours of picking the car up. (Picture taken by the event below) The 1st thing I did was fit a Pioneer AVH-Z5000DAB head unit (ordered before collecting the car) with Apple Car Play (work phone) & Android Auto (personal phone), this was chosen as I could have both phones connected via Bluetooth at the same time, little did I know the BRZ doesn't have DAB in the UK even though the radio has a DAB button, I tried a DAB aerial split, which didn't work with the shark fin, I tired a mag mount mounted upside down in the boot which was better but still wasn't great, so I took the plunge and replace the Sharkfin aerial with a proper DAB / FM aerial. Having used this for trips to Norwich and back the signal doesn't drop out (like the other half's Duster). The other high priority item was to fit a reverse camera (Fensport) so I didn't back into anything as the rear visibility is limited at the best of times and my driveway is tight between 2 houses.

    Air-Con

I spent half hour in the car park with the air con on at lunch, outside temp was 33oc and the Aircon was set to 18 and it was ice cold. Can't fault the AC system in these cars. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
