Was good to meet everyone again (and to meet a new person in Ian!) - was a great day!
As always I forgot photos
Did anyone get to drive through that lovely little mini-storm? I went to shell garage east of the track, set off for home and about 5 mins after going back past the track, it all went dark, thunder/lightning, heavy rain, strong gusty winds that started blowing the car about at 70mph which was fantastic fun

I'm fine with collecting at a future meet depending on timescales etc if you end up getting them delivered to yourself to save on postage!

And the best non-reaction reaction!

First instance it was a very slight bend but the car still followed the bend - was as though the rears had both let go equally so sounds right that it didn't interfere as there was no real issue.
Second instance, I barely moved off which is why I'm not sure if I was just stalling or just overly sensitive (or an issue that it didn't come on earlier)
-
Pulled away from a set of lights this morning (damp / 10c) and the rears lost traction which is normal at times for the road I was on, stability control light didn't come on which I was fine with.
However, when I next stopped in traffic and then set off again, the stability control instantly came on as I tried to set off which made the car feel like it stalled but didn't - this has happened twice now.
Is this something normal (is it the case I almost stalled but didn't?) or something I should get looked at?
(This is with VSC Sport on btw)

For £500 I think I need to be more careful reversing out in the mornings, it's a pretty tight reverse and have come millimetres away from scraping the passenger's mirror.
If you can only see where the crack is because you know about it, I would definitely leave it, in a few months you'll probably forget it exists at all!

I'm fine with sticking with standard tyres... we could always have 2 lap boards - standard and standard with whatever tyres (probably race soft for everyone).
For what it's worth, I'm convinced a sub 8 minute time is possible with race soft tyres.

Just done an 8:06.779 with the FRS courtesy car + racing soft tyres which was a chunk quicker than I managed with the GT86

Got my copy already... need to get a PS3 at work

Just to add to my earlier post, on the Saturday morning my mum's car was frozen up and so was mine on the body work but the windows (with G1 / G5 on) were 95% water and the small patches of ice just slid off so definitely helps!
-
Could have done with this earlier in the week!
Windows were frozen and wouldn't go back up but would go down. Did try putting the drivers side down all the way, didn't go up but closing the drivers door helped and was fine after that.
Got some gtechniq g1 on my windscreen and that wasn't frozen except where it was dirty (where the wipers don't touch), so I now have some g5 on my side / rear window so heres hoping that helps stop those freezing

Glad I saw that BMW almost lose it on the lap before, he clearly was being an idiot trying to floor it out of corners far too early. Think I was doing below 30 before getting to the corner he span at otherwise it might have been different!
