I've left mine, pretty much blanked it out now, same as the squeak I have near the radio, just got used to it happening that I ignore it. To me, it's always sounded like the polystyrene that's jumping rather than the items in it I'd say your car isn't broke (except your air conditioning that can't be turned off )

That implies the ANPR cameras can't check for tax currently which I thought they could? I doubt it'll have a positive impact on insurance premiums either. Hopefully if there are cameras for tax dodgers, it also checks insurance so we don't have people paying tax but not insurance. Also seems a tad harsh to give someone a fixed penalty for driving the car. Hopefully that "can be issued" is correct and if the driver was told it was taxed then nothing happens. Seeing as this is coming up, does anyone know if you can remove your tax disc in october or do you still need to display it until it expires and then switch to online?

How much is a brand new one? There's quite a few little marks on there, is the crack the bit below the headlight washer? To me, it'd depend on if I wanted it to look "as new" and how much extra that would cost and how close it comes to just buying a new one anyway.

Have a look when the window is a bit dirty, there should be 2 thick lines on the glass where it's clean(er) - the scratches should be in that area then
