There's no point, I haven't seen any worth the bother..... plus have you seen the cost?

It looks like a generic eBay manifold. I can't imagine longevity or amazing quality but I'm sure it would be OK. Probably available on eBay or Aliexpress for very cheap.

I probably wouldn't bother. Go EcuTek/OFT/EcuFlash. Superchips are unproven on a platform with proven offerings.

Without a remap or manifold you wont see any change to the torque curve.

Well they should have, the whole world knows:

And does the sound difference sound good/louder???
No warning lights, no significant gains. Will be louder.

Then go for one that gives you top end power. A 4-1 rather than a 4-2-1. A PD blower gives you plenty of midrange so a manifold that bumps up around the torque dip and sacrifices a little at top end just won't benefit you.
-
I would say that depending on the SC you would want to have a manifold that compliments the power delivery, whether that be EL/UEL

A picture of the setup might help.....
When you say knocking do you mean door knocking or pinging knock sounds?

TapTurn is well tried and tested on this platform/Subarus.

The 2nd set are actually Valenti Revo semi-replicas - the indicators are different.
I have the MY17 replicas and I'm happy with them - if the other set had been around when I bought them I'd have gone for them I think.

Not tempted by either of the VLAND offerings that can be had for reasonable money from eBay?

I've ended up cable tying the bonnet sensor down so it's never activated. Means I can lock the car and leave the battery charger on it as well 😂
I reckon that's the culprit though.

Why would it change the noise from the sound generator?

Wait and see how it pans out over here. Plenty of discussion of that on forums already. Newer recall instructions make references to the causes and where the techs need to pay attention to avoid it.

They are cheaper than the others. The most turbo kits fitted in the UK are probably AVO, but then TD came along at a better price point. However I prefer the turbo location of the AVO.

Well it won't be tyres.
My rear pads have started to do this. Have taken them off to have a look and grease them up but no joy. Sounds like they are down to the metal.

It also allows you to upload the map. I've never used so I don't know to much about it. And no it doesn't need registration to a new owner
It's not tuner specific, all kit comes labelled from the Master Tuner it was sold but can be used by any tuner.
The USB dongle is just the software license to be able to run the ProECU software on the laptop (for flashing and logging) and the cable is for connecting to the OBD port in the car.
21 hours ago, Dave86 said:Is this the kit needed to remap your ECU? Is this all you need? Does it need registering to a new owner?
Yes, EcuTek is the main remapping software in the UK. You also need a license for the ECU in your car if it's not been tuned by EcuTek before but this is usually included in the price when buying a tune

Toyota's website: https://toyota.jp/new_supra/?padid=ag341_tjptop_mk-acts_new_supra
I reckon we'll see the higher spec B48 here, there would be little to no market for the "base" model especially given the low numbers headed to Europe.

The figures on the Dynapack at the bottom of the screen are done by manually clicking a cursor where you want on the graph, not necessarily a point on the line

A good secondary cat would work fine - OEM or good quality high flow. The FI will help with the cat getting up to temp. A supercharger is less power restricted by running the OEM cat or exhaust if it helps, a turbo obviously is affected by smaller pipework.

Well it seems that the UK oversold it's A90 Edition, some buyers have mentioned getting an apology from TGB for the cock up. Plus it seems that all Pro spec have also gone. Not sure when the next lot will be available, but well done to anyone who got one!

Recall issued on cars to have valve springs replaced 2012-2013

The engine runs out of flow at higher RPM and the cams don't seem to be the issue, the article below suggests a 4-6% increase on a FI car which is the best I've seen ..... plus they are ~£1.5k (4 cams to replace).
