I dont like the new front end, but I do like that it has working vents!

I hate fake vents with a passion. That and fake exhaust tips really grind my gears.

With the lack of any details from Toyota I’m hoping the GR86 spends some significant research and development time with the Gazoo Racing department to improve upon what Subaru have done so far with the re worked car.

  2. Over a month now and still sign of a definitive diagnosis? I wouldn’t be happy about this at all. Apparently these latest engines use an awful lot of sealant and it must be applied in exactly the right places to avoid further damage. You should keep the pressure on the service manager to push this through otherwise it will take a back seat in their car park.

To be honest I’m not sure, it was actually a pre-production chassis from Japan (doesn’t even have a VIN) and it’s only ever been a fully stripped out racecar, so a lot (incl fog lights) have been removed over time for cooling/weight reduction) if that’s what suggest it’s a primo 🙂

Wow that’s cool! It was actually the headlights that don’t have the LED DRL, for some reason I’ve always liked the lights without DRLs.

  4. That certainly will tighten up the chassis. Super pro should prevent you losing your teeth over a pothole as well. I would hazard a guess that your trying to get the alignment back to oem with the use of adjustable suspension arms and drop links?

  5. That’s correct. 22 drivers side and 20 passengers. The wiper blade might not be seated correctly, check a YouTube video for fitting them. They may have unbolted the actual wiper arms from the assembly and put them back in their park position a few notches too high which would give more sweep but could clip the drivers side A pillar. A good test is to wet the windscreen and stick them on full speed. You’ll here and see them clipping. It’s one nut to adjust if necessary.
