Can my friend join with his GR Yaris? (used to have a gt86).

All booked! See you there.

What ride height do you all run them at?

When I had my remap done by abbey motorsport using an ecutek on their hub dyno.
Mark added the switchable maps.1. Razor sharp throttle
2. Softer throttle for wet weather driving or if the sharp throttle is too much.
3. Low octane with the ignition timing pulled back (low power mode).
4. Flat foot shifting, rev match auto blip.
Depending on how good they are with ecutek you can add features like reduced power when oil temps go up too high on track.

Is that your charge cooler with a puncture? Ally can’t be welded up. I’ve just installed a makeshift mesh grill to try and prevent this from happening to mine. Hopefully it can sorted asap for you.

How do you know it’s the big end bearing?

Focals are okay, I went with JBL components, more faff but with some sound deadening and speaker adaptors they sound miles better then the oem.

I can make the 7th, 14th, 22nd and 29th May. Anyone else have a preference?

Will the Denbies meet be coming back at all? Seemed like a good venue when we used to meet up Sunday mornings?

So far as I know you couldn’t order a pro without the boot spoiler, however they might of had a friendly dealer who swapped the boot for a non spoiler version. Either way here is my non pro with the boot lip spoiler.

Welcome to the AP racing club. You’ll enjoy the pad rattle going from forwards to reverse. But the front will really dive when you bury that pedal. Such a worthwhile mod because the brake pedal just feels so solid.

I have noticed a few folk comment on the lack of rear spoiler - is that because it wasn’t spec’ed in 2017?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThat’s exactly the same spec I bought brand new back in 2017. They did two trim levels back then. A GT86 which is what yours is and a GT86 pro which gained half leather and perforated alcantara interior with heated seats and alcantara door trim. Plus the black aluminium boot spoiler and a sat nav stereo.
I wasn’t fussed about the seats and didn’t like the boot spoiler so saved myself £2k and bought the same one as you. I’ve have since added a 5 axis boot lip spoiler as I think it finishes off the rear of the car nicely.

Administrators please mark as sold. Thanks

Here is the highly reputed Tuning Developments Cat back resonated exhaust system. It’s great build quality and deep characterful tone is what drew me to it.
It was fitted on my car for 6 months and I bought it used at 6 months old, so in total it’s about a year old with no damage or rattles.
Would prefer collection but I am Happy to courier for you.

In the end the lower bolt needed another couple of turns to tighten up with an allen key and spanner, and the noise disappeared.
Now I can hear that slight creak from the rear parcel shelf again! 😂
rear shelf creak fix. -
I thought part box still had one left. Might be an error on there website.

Why not the Cosworth Supercharger?

Thanks to this topic, I managed to install my own with no hiccups. I did have to unbolt the front seat to install it, which really isn’t too much trouble. Disconnected the battery and waiting 30mins so as not to upset any airbags. Looking forward to trying it on track.

I never realised how far forward the AVO turbo was mounted down below. What made you pick that setup?

That’s a long long list, hopefully I’ll get a few in this year providing the virus doesn’t take over.
Would be really to see some familiar and new faces.VAD17 and SimonG68 reacted to this -
So they definitely serve a purpose in keeping the temps down when out on track but it depends on your cars setup as to whether you really need them.

I’ve never found a seat more comfortable then the oem gt86 seats. Plenty of support for me. Perhaps yours are broken or worn out? What part is uncomfortable?
