  1. When I had my remap done by abbey motorsport using an ecutek on their hub dyno.
    Mark added the switchable maps.

    1. Razor sharp throttle

    2. Softer throttle for wet weather driving or if the sharp throttle is too much.

    3. Low octane with the ignition timing pulled back (low power mode).

    4. Flat foot shifting, rev match auto blip.

Depending on how good they are with ecutek you can add features like reduced power when oil temps go up too high on track.

I have noticed a few folk comment on the lack of rear spoiler - is that because it wasn’t spec’ed in 2017?

That’s exactly the same spec I bought brand new back in 2017. They did two trim levels back then. A GT86 which is what yours is and a GT86 pro which gained half leather and perforated alcantara interior with heated seats and alcantara door trim. Plus the black aluminium boot spoiler and a sat nav stereo.
I wasn’t fussed about the seats and didn’t like the boot spoiler so saved myself £2k and bought the same one as you. I’ve have since added a 5 axis boot lip spoiler as I think it finishes off the rear of the car nicely.
    Enjoy.

  3. Here is the highly reputed Tuning Developments Cat back resonated exhaust system. It’s great build quality and deep characterful tone is what drew me to it.

It was fitted on my car for 6 months and I bought it used at 6 months old, so in total it’s about a year old with no damage or rattles.

Would prefer collection but I am Happy to courier for you.

Mine was also the drop link. It felt tight when prodding around with the car in the air, but I assume that any play can loosen up with the car back on the ground or with higher forces when driving around.

In the end the lower bolt needed another couple of turns to tighten up with an allen  key and spanner, and the noise disappeared.

Now I can hear that slight creak from the rear parcel shelf again! 😂

  5. Thanks to this topic, I managed to install my own with no hiccups. I did have to unbolt the front seat to install it, which really isn’t too much trouble. Disconnected the battery and waiting 30mins so as not to upset any airbags. Looking forward to trying it on track.
