So the GR Yaris comes fourth in the Evo Car of the Year competition, at a basic price of £30k. The winner, BMW M2CS basic is £75k. The other two that scored above the Yaris were the Lambo Huracan at £164k and the McLaren 765LT at basic of £280k. Just on price alone would seem to make the Yaris fantastic value for money!
Well done Toyota!

Perhaps a group of 6 at one end of the field, and another six at the other end? We could wave to each other and pay separate visits to the cafe?

I remember Jordan well from those early shows we attended back in 2014.
He was always willing to engage in chats about cars and car stuff, and it was always stimulating to be in his company. A true enthusiast and the GT86 Community will miss a great source of banter and commitment to our cars.
RIP Jordan

I have only just seen this. Very sad news Ian. Hope you can come to the Fuel Coffee House meet this month so we can say goodbye to you and your car properly. We have lots of great memories of "the early days" !

Well it was great to be back at Fuel, and to see Sam's car in the flesh, and the Trueno too. Glad they were parked together!
I am sure Sam will have plenty of photos of the event. Shame the sun was not out cos that wrap will pop in the sunshine!! Well done Sam!Samwise and Rocket Panda reacted to this -

Yes Ian. It was the colour that made me look closer. I think I must have got so used to the white image (which does look nice too) that the red was a nice change. I can just imagine a black one sat next to the GT...................................maybe as a replacement for our IQ 😲

Fat arches, pillarless doors, that shape...............................lovely lovely lovely!!!
And that is just looking at it. Sounds good in another video too! Now where is my piggy bank?

Great to see you loving the car, and going for drives for no reason. 😀
Still doing this myself! 7th anniversary coming up on 24th April. On that day, however, I will be going for a drive, but this time for THAT very reason. 😉

Thanks for organising, Lee. We last attended this one in the nineties with our Dolomite Sprint. Be interesting to see if it has changed much. Will update when booked!

My comment in June 2017 related to our C-HR. They are still the OEM tyre on the latest spec C-HR three years later and they still work really well. I have no experience of the 3's on a GT86 I am afraid.
