Welcome to the club.
Do you have any mods planned? -
When I get my new phone I am going contribute to this thread so much!

It was really nice meeting you all and seeing you cars.
I hope, that now you are a bit more familiar with what we are doing here, and we value our customers very much, so you will never be disappointed.
Video is on our FB page, so make sure you follow Partbox on FB and Partboxcom on instagram.
Here is a link to the video for anyone that doesn't want to find it

Cracking meet guys. Thanks for making me feel so welcome on my first meet. The variety was awesome co-ordsport was awesome. The weather held up as well! I am really looking forward to the next meet!
Looking forward to seeing the photos and videos as well.
Thanks to @S18 RSGfor taking me out in the turbo 86. It was fun! -

I would be very grateful if you took me on a ride

This is going to be a great turn out.

I second this. Would like to know what it feels like compared to N/A

If it is £16K that is cheap!
-
It's an hour drive from me. But if you guys would still be out then yeah I would.
-
I would but I am working until 10pm
-
Aight.
I get the idea. Just thought it would be useful for function rather then style. I do agree some of them look horrid. But they don't seem to exist for the 86 so I can't get one anyways. Will have to look into other options for paint protection. -
Hi.
Anybody know of a bonnet bra for the 86? Kind of getting annoyed at stone chips. Google returned nothing.
Can anyone help? -
Welcome to the club.
Hope you feel welcome! -
So up doing further research I am going to get all the scratches done by a professional. I would rather get it done properly then bodging it with chipex.

So it rained today and I finally got to see how good my first detail is at beading and how good this harly wax actually is. I am very impressed. I am still a newbie to all these things but I would say that its a fairly good job!

Do you always drive with sport mode on?

54 minutes ago, Cerastes said:Yes I used chipex. Worked quite well. See pics in my build thread.
Edit: I have noticed loads of little chips when I cleaned it the other day so I will give those a go one day, when the weather is a bit more predictable. I'll try and get some before and after pics.
Good to see actual results! I'll give it a shot.
I assume it was pretty easy? -
Evening.
I have a few minor scratches on my car and 2 big ones (big ones are getting sorted by a professional bodyshop). Road rash as well but that is quite typical. I was thinking of trying chipex, does anybody have any experience with this? I don't currently have any photos but I can get some.
Anybody had any success with any other products? What would you recommend? -
Welcome to the club! I am fairly new as well. Only had my car a week but I am loving it!
Post some pics when you get it! -
I'll be there put my name down.
Anybody in the West Yorkshire area fancy meeting up on the morning and doing a convoy down? -
Hey I thought I would start a thread for my TRD. I think I am going to name her Amy. Not too sure yet though.
She is stock at the moment, I currently don't have any plans for her apart from getting the stone chips sorted (I know the paint is a bit thin!) and getting a new set of shoes for her and maybe better brake pads......
Here is my first ever picture of her
I spent most of the day detailing/cleaning her after work today, she has now come out like so
I also have managed my first scratch....., I reversed a bit too close to a family members car.
It's pretty deep. I am getting it fixed very very soon though!
Apologies for the rubbish pictures my phone is super old and the camera is really bad, the photos do not do it justice!
I don't think I will mod her at all for the time being I have no need to. Although in the far future I would like to improve as a driver and do track days. I really look forward to meeting you guys at events and being part of the stand mostly though!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like it.KevinA, surrey86 and Lauren reacted to this

I have a similar question. I guess this answers it. I was looking at R888R's but they would be rubbish in the wet. Looks like I am getting PS4's
