    Hi Faith,

Hope you are well and loving the Aero!!

Just wanted to ask, do you remember Nick - Musketeer? He seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Just a bit concerned, hope he is ok.

    Cheers,

      Hiya Rab,

Sorry, for not answering before.  Can't believe how long it's been since I last logged in!  Ridiculously busy lately, and unfortunately, that means fun stuff takes a back seat.

As for Nick, to be honest I haven't seen or heard from him either.

      Kind regards

  2. If we can get some date's roughly set, would you like to include some go-karting? There's a great outdoor track near Edinburgh and a few Scottish members have already shown an interest in doing a karting day. Might be a good start/end to the trip?
  3. It's usually the 2 weeks following the Easter weekend but as it falls so early next year it is the 2nd-17th April in Glasgow, however this seems to vary regionally as the Highland's are 25th March - 10th April: http://myschoolholidays.com/gb--Highland
  4. As long as I have enough notice I can do anytime, but yes, the traffic will be a nightmare, most of the Easter week will be busy up there to be honest. Hopefully have another BRZ by then - if not I'll be in the Mazda (I'll lug the supplies!)!
  5. I've been going up to Durness since I was a twinkle, I know those routes and some of the hidden treasures that the tourist trail doesn't usually include. IIRC Good Friday is 25th March 2016. If this is a driving event, I'm in!

    My eyes are bleeding

RA Motorsports were considering selling theirs I believe, it's nice but not immaculate any more - and it's seen some action!

    How to spoil an MX5

Front grille and lights actually looks a bit Jaguar-ish to me.. I agree, it's nicer than the MX-5
  9. I've had a change of plans and as such I'm now selling these 19x8.5" Five Axis S7:F alloys. Just the wheels, no tyres, 5x100 45mm offset. Came off my BRZ after only 900 miles so are in as new condition. Located in Hamilton, near Glasgow but can be brought down to Liverpool/Northwest if it helps £500 ono
  10. Link here to MyTyres.co.uk: MY TYRES Depends what quality of tyre you want, £43 upwards - if it was me I'd put GY Eagles at £117 each Cheers
  11. Last bump for these before I put them away into a corner to gather dust and spiders..... £££ ANY REASONABLE OFFER WILL BE ACCEPTED !!!
  12. It gives me great pleasure to announce that Amber Performance would like to invite GT86 & BRZ owners from all over the UK (and beyond!) to their recently refurbished premises in Dunstable on Saturday 3rd October! James and I have decided to work together to make this a rather special day which will include: Convoys form various ends of the country Initial meet and greet at Amber Performance Dyno sessions for those wishing to partake The Exhaust Meet (see below!) Visit to the White Lion for those who like their pub grub Convoy to Milton Keynes Go-Karting at the Daytona Circuit MK Overnight stay for those travelling long distances or who just want to stay over and have a few beer amongst like minded company!! As many of you will know, James' premises were, unfortunately, badly damaged in a fire last October, and as such have undergone extensive rebuild and refurbishment works, which is now entering its final stages. Once James has a confirmed date for the installation of his new dyno, we will set a date in stone and confirm all bookings (Go Karting, hotels etc) but in the meantime please let us know which dates are not suitable due to your other motoring commitments (TSS etc). We envisage a realistic timescale of around the end of September/start of October to allow the installation and testing of the dyno. Now, the thanks for this bright idea do not lie solely with James and myself!! Far from it in fact! Our good friend and fellow 86er Kat - Growlerkat to those of you on unfamiliar terms with this lovely young lady - deserves all the credit for this one! Had it not been for Kat's wanton desire to check out everyones rear end (your exhausts ) this may never have been suggested as a combined meet! So thanks Kat for planting the seed on this one! Thanks also to Steeps for suggesting Daytona! I'm sure James will have loads more info on this over the coming weeks and I'll start enquiring about the karting etc. Please get behind this one and support James and Amber! Cheers!! Rab
  13. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/aaaw3rxswrluwz9/AABp90FPd4ZLS6no3u8HIYC4a?dl=0 Link to Dropbox with better photos of wheels off the car. The wheels are immaculate as can be seen, and although 2 of the centre caps have tiny dings in them (I've done my best to photograph them), I'm sure whoever buys them will want to fit Toyota or Subaru replacements anyway. ££offers Cheers, Rab

    RIP, Eric

Our thoughts are with you and the family Keith. Jan & Robert
  15. I was only -15mm which didn't actually need the camber adjustment. These are a direct fit as Rob said
  16. Yeah as Rob says , these were specifically designed for the GT86 so the fitment is perfect. In terms of downsides to fitting 19" wheels, I didnt notice many. Obviously the 35 profile tyre requires a bit more care and attention when it comes to potholes and kerbs, but the ride was fine even with the stiffer springs on mine. I think there's only been a handfull of folk who went with 19" wheels fitted to their 86/BRZ, Fensport being one of them (and if they think it's good enough who are we to argue!!??) They really do fill the arches well and make the car stand out. I'll PM you my number as I'm not going to be near a computer for the next day or 2. Cheers, Rab
  17. 235/35 x 19 and car was lowered 15mm on JDM STi springs
  18. Hi Paul, yes the wheels are still up for grabs! Here's a few more pics: Cheers, Rab
  19. Just to let everyone know, gates open at 8am and Dyno runs will be on a first come first served basis
  20. Fantastic offer, I've got one and cant fault it!
  21. Ok I'll take it on board to stop smudge from beating people over the head with a 3" straight through centre section, happy??
  22. Drink!!!! Food!!!! Drunken arguements about who's exhaust was better!!!
  23. Has anyone booked hotels yet or planning to? I meant to look at it last weekend but it went right out my head..
  24. They look great on your car - I should know!! Thanks, but on this occasion, it's a NO from me...
