I have swapped the bleeders around on the front calipers so that they can be mounted the correct way where they just bolt on and work and bleed perfectly and does not lead to uneven pad wear. The calipers are almost new and not the 04-07 so in excellent condition. I have both the front and rear black sti calipers with white STI badge in very good condition with 2 sets of brembo pads. Comes with a full set of black coated disks and I can show you where to purchase new discs for 80-145£ a set depending on your configurations but they will last absolutely ages. I have also purchased all new mounting bolts, banjo bolts and bleeders for the brakes. They are a direct fit so its just bolt on and it will be a massive improvement to braking over stock.
The brake parts have been carefully packed in boxes in my garage I will try to get them out and take detailed pictures over the next few days especially if someone shows interest
Included with the brake kit I have
STI front 4 pot brembo calipers
Front 336mm brake disks with black coating
STI rear 2 pot brembo calipers
Rear brake disks with black coating
2 sets of brambo pads
All new mounting bolts, bleeders and banjos
I stupidly paid 1000 euros for the head unit and have the receipt to prove . However I beleive it is the best. The nav uses an app on your phone for traffic and map updates is easy to punch in addresses and is accurate. It also has applecarpaly/android and a dab aerial ect that i mounted hehind the other peice of carbon fibre dash and it works like a dream. Again would like to get back as much as possible and this is so much better than any headunit even the 799+ ones and is the toyota subaru size for any of that model car. Asking £650
Location Leicester but I can post to your door

Number plate brick must be for sale surely?

2 minutes ago, Paul said:I may have mine knocking around, what's it worth to you?
They’re about 30£ on eBay when I was looking so anything less than that I’d be prepared to pay
-
As per title if anyone’s dw bricked their car I’m after a number plate holder for cheap, thanks a lot!
-
Yeah I thought it was silly but now makes total sense it’s just for setting the tightness but not for cracking incredibly toght bolts but I had a really good seating on the nut and it still chewed and jumped out so the hammering on of a multihex was inevitable, perhaps a impact gun would have got it but not everyone uses one
and yeah the car was still from the night before but i took it round the block thinking it might fix it but no it was just incredibly tight

Anyone know any good car theft forums or car thieves, someones got to have a trick! Like folding the wing mirrors in and out in a certain sequence 😂😂 but the battery charger trick should sort it

Please elaborate I thought it made no difference so was not needed however it can make it easier for removal?

Well bugger knows who removed them smeared copper grease on them and put them back extra tight on while it was on my drive then
the copper grease bandits

I assume there’s no real damage if the person next taking it off is another mechanic with an impact cabable of not chewing up the nut but it’s not good practice. I mainly mentioned it hopping it would stop it happening to anyone else as everything at rrg was above and beyond and I’d still reccomend them but I’d say request them to be gentle with your nuts. But when it’s the last wheel you come to and you have to wait until the day after to go to the shop and go through 3 Halfords multihex spckets hammering away til one stuck enough to not twist off is when it suddenly becomes the worst thing in the world 😂😂
-
it can be set upto 250 so i assume its good for that! why on earth would a 110-120 wheel nut be 200 + nm of torque to get off plus 99% of time i put them there and it should be 120 who carries around 2 twister offers anyway : ( or do people go round overtightening peoples wheel nuts in the night to fuck with them maybe someone wanted to get me but incredibly subtly and id never know. I have now shifted my blame from rrg to steeps.
Edit; wasnt being a dick i actually took in the advice if not for this i would have definitely wanged on something too tight in the future and broke something so ty <3
-
managed to get it off after using 3 sockets hammering over the nut and eventually it came loose. Im now down 2 afternoons and 3 sockets : ( defenitely deserve some sort of toyota fleece or a gt86model car memorabelia imo : )

Yeah I assume they would for servicing and there’s a hefty amount of copper grease which I have never bothered to use so 100%

Had a service with yoursleves recently and traveled 2 hours for the pleasure. Everything was fine with the service however unfortunately when I went to take my wheels off today I found that all the nits were 200nm+ (electronic snap on torque wrench) a few nuts came off twisted and one locking wheel nut is stuck fast and the outer shim of the wheel nut came off leaving the inner part, it’s the star locking one from aero cars with oz ultraleggeras, the wheels on the car have been sold and we’re due to be collected but one is currently stuck. Any idea the best way to get it off

I’ll ask rrg and see if they know

I'm wary of tyre places as I've had no less than 3 locking wheel nuts stripped by 3 different places over the years. Each time saw them re-fitting using the air/impact guns. They claimed to have torqued them as well, but me politely explaining "clicking a torque wrench set at 120Nm on something wound up way more is not torque loading" just provoked strange looks and/or attitude... 🙄🙄🙄
I hope you get it sorted ok 🙂
Went to YouTube and found some interesting methods to try

Update managed to use the key to get the front off so just the one that’s messed up now. Reckon I could just go somewhere and have them use my key and power tools to do it?

Went to change my wheels today and since the cars service at rrg my electronic torque wrench was beeping like heck because they were tightened to 200nm?! Anywho one side came off with a lot of beeping then onto the other side and I was taking care as I noticed the other side was extremely tight the locking wheel nut rounded and in doing o made it slanted so it jumps out forever. Any idea on what I have to do now? And what the best way is tho solve the problem
