However to give you all time to respond, we've decided to do the first meet on the first weekend of February, Saturday the 3rd at midday (12:00pm). The venue will be the new Caffeine & Machine site, the Bowl near Bedford. This is a nice central(ish) location and only 10minutes off the M1 motorway, Junction 13, so easy to get to for most. As with the original Caffeine & Machine, you'll need to book tickets, which are £10 per car (not per person). You shouldn't have any issues, the failure rate for the valve springs is extremely low. I haven't had the recall and don't plan to. I've tracked the car for several years without issue, if it was going to break it would have done so already. I'd honestly be more concerned about bearing failure from lack of oil pressure, but even thats a very low risk as well. Just make sure you car is maintained correctly and it should be fine.
