Ignore me, it's 2.4% bias rear (I was comparing the stock with my own setup). Just run the same pad type all round.

@br0wny Here are the stats for the WRX calipers, based on those figures its a 5.2% 2.4% increase in rear bias. 99-07 WRX: Front: -4-pot fixed caliper. -(Tech: 4-pistons, each of diameter 40.4mm) -294x24mm vented discs. (295x25mm, or any combination of is also frequently seen, and compatable) -(Tech: A=294mm; B=57mm or 57.5mm; C=24mm; D=22mm; E=58mm; F=5 (5X100)) Rear: -2-pot fixed caliper. -(Tech: 2-pistons, each of diameter 38.1mm) -290x18mm vented discs. -(Tech: A=266mm; B=67.5mm; C=18mm; D=16mm; E=58mm; F=5 (5x100)) And make sure you refurb them, so they look like this

Buy this, then get the turbo kit when you can afford it. (Their turbo kit is cheaper with the TD manifold already in place) Personally financing a turbo kit is a crazy idea (or any FI for that matter). Lets say the worst happens and the engine blows up, how are you going to afford the rebuild?
-
Quite a few of them do open on Saturday mornings till about 12.

As @HariboPenguin says, try the brokers. It's a proper pain to ring round and give them your details, but if they can save you £300 it's worth it no?
-
Are you talking about a full respray (i.e. the complete car) or just the front bumper & bonnet?

Hi Mode 10 As one of the ACE owner's I hope I can help a little. Twin screw or Centrifugal? This is really personal preference, I suggest you try and have a go in both. Out of all the available supercharger options my preference would be a positive displacement supercharger, like the Cosworth or Harrop (both of which are silly cheap at the moment). Would the ACE and a centrifugal (Like the HKS) give it good power all around? Yes or would i be better going for lower down torque and mid with a Sprintex and use a cheaper EL to keep it more consistent at the top? Just keep the stock manifold, it'll be sufficient enough for that. However Rob is currently selling his full exhaust system, which he used with his Sprintex: Also what gains is there to be had of just using an ACE with tune alone? My dyno graph can been seen on my build thread here:

@Mark@Abbey M/S - What's the current price for the Harrop self fit kit & lead time? Thanks

Tuning Developments' NA Package with Milltek Non Res-Mini Review
will300 replied to GT MLT's topic in Tuning Developments
Nice review @GT MLT, did Mike give you a discount to write that? FYI: They all spike once you let of the throttle (with aftermarket manifolds) or give it a quick blip. You need to be careful of this on drive by, especially at places like Bedford. -
Ah sweet, seen some of his work and follow him on Facebook. Definitely somebody I'd want doing a project like this.
-
Out of interest @Quball which bodyshop are you using?
-
Car is looking sweet now @Lowe, I think the side louvers really work with the grey paint.

GT86 Supercharged 2012 - Fastest Auto GT86 in Europe.

Might be worth mentioning that it's running a HKS supercharger. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
I definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you've done your research. However @Ade is running this exact setup, also @smudge has the same calipers with 360mm discs. For those that want a 355mm kit, its good value. Worst case it'll need a refurb and new brackets made up, this will still be alot cheaper than a brand new AP Racing kit.

For those who aren't on the Facebook group, here is a good price on a used set of AP Racing brakes: https://www.scoobynet.com/car-parts-for-sale-437/1053794-ap-racing-large-6-pot-355mm-front-brake-kit-fits-all-years.html (355mm discs)

I mean the new BC ones, the same as these except they have clear lenses and a blacked out housing. For reference:

Can you get the hold of the Buddy Club ones @Lucas@PartBox?

My Ferrodo DS2500 can be a bit like that when cold, they're fine once up to temp. I don't have any balance issue's with them.

These might still be available:

Konig Daylite wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres
will300 replied to Deacon's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
@alucardo already owe's me for checking his first set of wheels. I'm sure I can be convinced to check these. -
Paul, if they call again, request that they remove you from their database. Then also request that under the new GDPR regulation, that they provide you with all information they hold about you, where and when they got that information from and there full company details. Create a gmail account for them to send the information to (i.e. not your own), also take their customer services telephone number down and state they have 5 working days for them to respond to your request, otherwise you'll contact the ICO & FOM. You can also ask for a copy of their data retention policy. This is on the assumption they stay on the phone long enough and don't just hang up. (i.e. if they are actually a genuine company). If that doesn't work, just block the number.

I'd avoid RPF1's if you plan on running a BBK, they are known to have fitment issues. As for the SAGA's, the size that would fit best and be closest to your current selection would be 18x8.5 +45 with 225/40/18 tyres, yes there is a possibility of some stretch but that depends on tyres chosen. However out of the available sizes in for our cars, I'd only personally look at getting the 17x9 +42 or 18x9.5 +43, all the others will sit in the arch to much. Also don't expect change from £2K when looking at TE37's

The anti rattle clip is the wrong way round, it can't put any pressure on the pads like that. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
