I've taken up the mantle of book keeping, enough for our actual accountant to just finish it off and do the paper work.

Don't forget the running in period isn't just about the engine, the brakes, tyres etc also need to be run in too. At the end of the day, weather you are running the car in or not, just don't abuse the car when cold or labour the car etc.

Wow that is bulls#it, they going to at least refund you at all? Quite a few people have now join Prestige, have no idea what they're like if something happens but they do seem to be pretty cheap for those who have joined them. Other are with Sky (whom I'm currently with), Adrian Flux, Admiral etc.

Looks good, that might be my game plan in the long run, at the moment, I'm in no rush, I want my wheels more than anything first.

Hmmmm well I've got the remaining paint (a bucket or yellow and a bucket of the pearl that he didn't use up) so could easily get him or someone else to do that for me.....maybe add a black stripe or two across the dash pieces like some have already down...or maybe a sticker of something...maybe a club sticker or something.

Appreciate the opinions mate, to be fair, there's only a lil bit of exposed carbon on the outside that not many will notice anyways. I'm sure it'll look great just painting the insides liquid yellow but I feel it'll look a lil bland, hence the carbon fibre effect, either that or do something else with it, paint it liquid yellow but add something to it, some stripes or something. If I was to get them hydro dipped, I'd try and get them to paint it the same liquid yellow, but with a slight carbon effect to it.

More like just bridged across, there's nothing underneath, last time I pressed the wrap in and it followed nicely, but eventually started to peal up a bit so thought I'd leave it up instead. Just popped the air bag unit off, unscrewed 2 screws and the trim pops off, don't even have to disconnect the air bag. Do 3M do yellow carbon fibre vinyl? Only a temporary thing for the time being, ultimate was it hydro dipping as my wrapping skills aren't great and still have folds and creases.

Since I've changed the colour of my car, thought it was time to do something about the white interior bits, so I decided to wrap it in a yellow carbon fibre wrap (which isn't a million miles off matching the paint colour).....I thought my wrapping skills had improved since the last time but even though they looked good to begin with, they have now start to peal and raise off the part in the corners will probably get them hydro dipped at some point. Sadly, I also recently discovered this It's a pretty big chip and it seems to be flaking up a lil around the edges.....Doesn't look like there's as many layers as I was lead to believe

I wouldn't say they looked nicer, they look even more poverty spec than the current cloths which to me closely resembles suede anyways (but obviously not as nice but they're still pretty good for base cloth seats), that looks like some sort of tough fabric.

It's near the head unit, where as the GT86 has it on the opposite side of the steering wheel tucked lower down by the boot release button.

Well bugger me, I don't know why but I was under the impression that Millteks were around the £750/800 mark...then again never really looked after I got the Cobra system.
-
Millteks aren't that expensive are they?

[emoji17] sorry to hear this, give them hell! -
Awesome stuff and congrats!

Yeah Kev, the stock tyres and brakes are proper tough stuff, Lauren's spent half a day drifting her car around Anglesey before and lost hardly any rubber at all. Who else is doing track time?

Welcome to the club! Any plans for the car at all? Mods, trackdays, shows etc?

Loved to join you but won't be able to get the time off as I've already got training coursed booked in. -
Congrats and welcome to the club! The 86 really isn't that bad, for a sports car it gets pretty good mpg and reasonable tax and insurance.
