    Hi from up north

Main thing I noticed as a downside was more buzzing through the gearstick (not really surprising) but I felt it made it feel slightly better, so was happy with the result for not much spend. Must say I really like the gearbox in mine, but some people have had issues with 2nd (and they did include people who were used to sporty gearboxes) Alec

    Hi from Lincolnshire

A whole bunch of us will be at Blyton this Saturday for the first round of the Toyota Sprint Series, it's normally free to spectate so feel free to pop along (we will probably be having dinner in the Premier Inn Scunthorpe on the Friday night before as well) Blyton was the first place I took mine on track (on winters once the snow had melted a bit) with Car Limits back in Feb 2013 Alec

  7. Have created a playlist on youtube channel for videos here (note some of the very slow laps in my vids were waiting for other GT's to lap me, so I could video them, as I had no chance of catching the Advan boys!) Have had a search around on youtube and dropped in those done by Honda and Lotus chaps as well (let me know if you come across any others) Really showed up for me how good the Yokohama Advans are in the wet compared to the Primacys, Alex Keith and Mike were miles faster than Dan or I wanted to go on our eco tyres Alec

    Jamies EVO triangle outing

Short notice but in case you don't use facebook, Jamie's arranging a run around the triangle "Had a quick look at making a route, basically going to be meet at the Farm at 12, head off and do a lap of the triangle (photo op at the parking area at the top). A5 to Betws-y-coed for food/beer/chat then head off to Capel Curig where we'll turn off the A5 into the Snowdonia national park, not going to plan any route, just drive and see what we find like emoticon not one for over planning things as you can tell" Meet at 11 at Shell Mold CH7 1UE or Rhug Estate Farm LL21 0EH at 12. Potential BRZ owner

Got a private plate on it (as it was an anniversary present for my previous car) but bought it in August 2012 on a 12 plate and the thought of waiting so it would have been registered on a 62 never crossed my mind, just wanted it as soon as possible to drive it. The idea of torturing yourself by deliberately making yourself wait seems bonkers to me
