I saw the post on facebook earlier and at first thought it was a wind-up .. then I read it again ... and had to read it again. Absolutely gutted for his family ... and hoping that they can get through this. We hear of the silent killer being the dreaded "C" word, but there are others and depression doesn't seem to get the attention, funding or priority from the NHS that it deserves. RIP Smudge.

Depends how you drive but I average low to mid 40s each refill .. that's on VPower. I'm only disappointed when it's below 37mpg ... but then I've been having more fun!

It will be brake fluid ... Dot3 minimum so Dot4 is fine (actually better and easier to get now).

Do they fold if you use the handle to lock/unlock? (facelift keyless BRZ)

+1 for Bulldog .. got my BRZ from them in 2017 and they have looked after it since. No quibble when the battery started to fail either. Begin a Subaru dealer they at least know how that engine goes together! I think by Feb 2020 they had changed the valve springs on over 40 engines and had a long list of others still to do.

Which made the MY17 Alpine upgrade (dab+, satnav, etc) <expletives deleted> expensive .... luckily I'd negotiated a discount with dealer when I ordered the BRZ (and expected a older model ... nice surprise) so it didn't hurt quite as much ... 😁 -

From 2017 facelifts the size, and possibly shape, of the unit was different so may be not ... -

One the 2 or 3 occasions my battery has dropped too low to open or start, the alarm was loud enough when I eventually got in! But that might be it's in a garage ...

Glad the idea helped ... Not sure why the lock is so stiff unless it's the green gloop they put on everything for the boat ride from Japan!

I found threading a thin but longish allen key through the end of the key made it easier to hold and gave just enough leverage to twist that bit more to operate and unlock.

You can't see the g force unless stationary anyway ... waste of time ...

Just dug out my brochure ... MY15 spec ... apparently the only difference was the seats. SE: Sporty front seats (Fabric) SE LUX: Leather and alcantara with seat heaters -

1.6mm isn't great in winter .. ok that was with an Alfa 156 (155bhp fwd) but I spent more time spinning the tyres than driving in a forward motion for a couple of days ... and the understeer was horrific! My tyre dealer was calling them "Dunlop Kojaks" for good reason ...

Had those fitted to daughter's 206CC and really sorted handling ... but they wear quickly ... esp on FWD car.

I've got just under 27k miles on my BRZs Primacies and shockingly ... they have plenty of tread left No I don't drive the car hard and it is an auto but please, please, please wear out soon so I can put better tyres on

Mine has a personalised plate and never had one allocated before. I was invited to choose one from a list the dealer had .. I assume the dvla provides this ... but I just took along my registration docs about 3 weeks before handover and the plates were made up and fitted. They will have spare 14 regs and allocate one when yours goes on retention.
