And kept for how long?  That's a heck of a lot of data to store for a busy company like Adrian Flux.

Should be for at the very least the duration of the policy IMO. We had an issue at work of being missold gas and leccy and we was able to get the recordings to fight a legal battle. that was 18 months in to contract from what I remember

I don't think there's any point in me contacting the insurance ombudsman over mis-selling, as it's my word against theirs, and it's a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things, just very annoying for me as I want to do my mods!

The lesson here is to always get everything in writing.

    Matt.

All calls are recorded, it wouldn't be your word against theirs. It states this when you start the call.

  3. I've been running 300 for a while now, probably around 2 years. It's not broken yet, someone had also ran a HKS at 320ish and was fine (I say way because I don't know of it's status since it was sold on) The person who owns it is on here somewhere can't remember his username though.

It's a bit of a gamble as to if your rods are made of butter or cheese :)

  4. Despite what any insurer says you have the last say on where the vehicle is repaired. Some do have clauses in them with an additional excess for it though so it's worth reading the smallprint. I don't think it bares any odds legally in terms of warranty for the work or who undertakes it as you will have a paper trail and the work should be warranted and covered either way.

From experience Toyota repair centres aren't all what they are cracked up to be, you're best off going to a local you trust.

  5. I would have said consider the club track days with LoT they tend to be a lot quieter and are very welcoming to newbies. That and their driving ettiquette is fantastic.

However there's only one left this year and brands was yesterday which would have been perfect.

rob275: but on which wheel width? As for tire sizing choice, i guess - for a bit more playfulness & a bit better acceleration?

9" Wheels, I wouldn't have joined the conversation otherwise :) Yes you are correct, 235 was a little too docile for me and I was far quicker using 225's. That said, they were both entirely different tyres to take that with a pinch of salt. I felt they worked betterand overall it was noticable. It's very much a preference thing though.
