    Help me make a decision

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43768 Couple of reds with coloured wheels here - if you match it well....who knows! Kinda like the red on red in that picture, but not sure it'd suit your alloys? Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk

If you can hold off on the suspension for a month, my teins will be for sale and they are awesome! (I'm should be going down the route of air all goong to plan) Which Teins do you currently have in that carbon clad beast? [emoji3] (lovely looking car) Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk

You've got the EDFC Active Pro in yours? Exclusivity is always good; hence the giant spoiler But £1.5k + tyres makes you go

Yeah I may have got overexcited looking at everything on the Internet. Sooo many cool things to buy though! Yeah was looking at the Tein Street Flex for coilovers. Wheels - I want ones like the Rays Gramights 57C6, but they're so damn expensive thats off the cards: https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=57C6. Really like the concave effect. Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk

I've now switched out the OEM manifold for a JDL UEL catless manifold, 2.5 overpipe (both ceramic coated for the heat shielding) and an ultra quiet front pipe (silencer and hi-flow cat). Combined with the Invidia N1 this thing is loud now. Such a rumble at low speeds to it now, roars when opened up; absolutely love it. Some car alarms don't though (like the bosses at work!). As Mark at Abbey has said - will be interesting come MOT time this year as to whether the cat passes as they have had issues previously with Cobra and others, though don't think we've seen a JDL one tested yet. Only got a few shoddy videos at the moment. Excuse the stupid voice in the videos. https://youtu.be/leVvIUHxM4M https://youtu.be/WZCE5DtA6Iw Took the car down to Mark at Abbey to have it remapped, made 220 and the dip was greatly compressed to c.500rpm gap. Full throttle shifting is (well was) so much fun! Cold start was dialled out in the remap, but I had to have the remap removed to take back to Toyota for warranty work - bad idle, slip light and CEL coming on - having camshaft timing issues apparently. Toyota fixed this with an ECU update, which seems to have resolved it, but this is very odd because the ECUTEK rom should be the latest update file. I need to head back for Mark to have a look at it/and re-flash the remap. Well hopefully I will not cause any issues, but who knows. For mostly show at the moment, bought and fitted some Takata (yes I am aware of all the safety issues around harnesses), as I say, mostly for show at the moment. Next stages - just purchased the Aerokit Spec R1 kit, which is basically just the Vertex kit, but not. Have to find someone to fit it and paint it - does anyone know of a specialist down in Surrey that can help on this?

Painted and fitted. Carbon blade across the middle. Completely covers the OEM holes.

I like big spoilers, rather Fast and Furious I know, but makes the car just stand out more! Took me about 2 months to decide on which one - opted for the (rather expensive) S-Craft spoiler, technically designed for the BRZ and looks a lot like the first gen Impreza wings. Imported from JapanParts, eagerly awaited the delivery, but got it home, turned out it had been damaged in production. Emailing with Japanparts got me knowhere sadly about compensation, and couldn't get hold of the original S-Craft people either (website sucks). Looks like when they tried the riveting, massively upset the gel coating (and a little bit of the carbon fibre as well. Real pain in the whatsits as I had to wait for 4 weeks whilst japanaparts got nowhere. In the end, decided to say screw it, and repair it myself using some industrial grade epoxy resin. Pick off the broken bits of gel coat, and then layer up some epoxy to make a coating, hold everything together and then re-rivet the hole. Turned up pretty good, I was surprised myself. Can't find the final pictures, but you can barely tell it was damaged now.

    Hi from West Sussex

Hi, welcome to the club from a fellow ginger owner! Whereabouts in West Sussex? I work down in Gatwick but it may not be far enough south - if you're ever up that way, I'll give you a wave! Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk

    Rich's Ginger 86

Hi, I was also under the car this weekend refitting all my pipes (on my ginger!) - I've replaced the stock front pipe and it uses a doughnut gasket-style joint. Does your milltek potentially have a flat flange connector on it? If it does, might just be a bit trickier connecting the two pipes. Good choice on the uel - makes the car sound so much better! Hi from Nemo

Hi all, New to the forum and I come from around the Epsom area to the South of London. I've owned an orange 86 for about 16 months now and absolutely love it. Somehow the side on look at the front end always reminded me of a fish (somehow?) and since it's orange, has been named Nemo for a few months now, also hence the username. I've done a few mods to it already (full manifold back exhaust, remap, short shifter, rear wing) and have plans for a few more - I've definitely got the urge to mod at the moment! I can't find many good pictures at the moment, though I have this random artistic shot at night time which I think shows the curves of the car and spoiler off really well (yes I was washing it in the dark!) Look forward to getting to know some of you. Paul

    Hi from Nemo

Thanks GT86-Ian - I've seen your build, J like what you've done with yours, part of the reason I took the plunge for a big wing like this Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk

    Hi from Nemo

    Hi from Nemo

It's the 'S-Craft' rear wing with a carbon blade - I saw it on the FT-86 forum, and after that, nothing else seemed to compare. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23557. It's actually for the BRZ (their bodykit is a little bit marmite) and I had to import from Japanparts.com.
