Are you NA or FI ?

Knightrider, thanks for all this info. and checking the tables.
-
Hehe. As always this comes back to driver trainkng is better value.

Yours is a 2012 car though Lauren isn't it? They had different maps to 2013 onwards cars I've been led to believe as the afr is different on 12 and 62 plate cars when dyno'd to anything 13 onwards. In effect the 2012 cars are mapped!
Now thats interesting! Mines a 2012 as well. How can we confirm this?
-
Knightrider, do you mean have an optimised 98octane map and a stock map i.e. two?

Little triumphs..........

Sneaking from the shadows he steals the 42000th post.
Who was that masked poster?

Sonic. I guess you'd need multiple maps to cover varying fuel grades if you come closer to knock on 98 octane?
-
I found this interesting. Particularly his view on ECU tuning an NA motor without mods i.e. Dont bother you get nothing.
Anybody have any evidence to the contrary?
Thanks
-
Me you neither.
Still using it daily. To be fair I dont bring it into town much as the wifes car has the residents parking discount thing on it......and I don't like leaving mine in busy car parks.

Thanks all.
Had mine 2 1/2 years now. No mods and no current plans (other than getting round to fitting that tap flash relay thing i hoovered off the other forum a year ago!). Just enjoying the drive as is for now.
Did a car limits day last year and learnt a lot. Perhaps a track day next year nut perhaps some more training first. I like the way you guys have been organising them.
Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Guys
Briefly Stepping out of the shadows to say hello and acknowledge the wealth of experience and welcoming attitudes on this forum. Thanks.
I'll continue to quietly enjoy my 86 and maybe see you at a get together one day
Cheers
