  1. My 48ah wint last two weeks.

First time this happenend RMB Northallerton identified a faulty alarm module and replaced it under warranty.

The next time the cat was left for two weeks was last month, and the battery didn't last.

I discussed the problem with RMB who tested the battery as ok, but took in board all the evidence from the forums and put forward a request to Toyota GB to upgrade to 65ah.

Toyota came back with queries re: usage, frequency, miles/day, type of driving etc (I use the car everyday for 20mile each way commute on motorway). Following which they agreed to upgrade as a goodwill gesture. Not a warranty issue.

Going in at end of the month.

    Thanks to RMB.

  2. Yes. Had them on mine winter before last. They have spigot rings to make them fit. I've aquired some 17" winter wheels tyres from a mate since.

Thinking about it there is a little paint scraped off at the edges of some of the wheel nut holes. Due to a standard wheel brace being used and it being a very close fit with the hole. They really need tuner nuts (which I dont have I afraid).

I can take some more photos tomorrow if you're interested.

  3. My aircon wasn't blowing cold either. I asked my neighbour who is a refrigeration technician what he thought. He reckoned a three year old car shouldn't loose all its gas unless there is a leak.

Called up my dealer and explained the problem. They also wanted to 'service' the aircon for £260.  I said no that it must be a leak given the cars age. After much insisting on my part they agreed to look at it from that perspective and let me know. They found a leak.

The high pressure hose from the compressor to the condenser had a leak. According to them they had just fixed the same problem on another GT86. There then ensue alot of palaver and multiple visits because they couldn't get organised to get the 1234y gas sorted out.

All fixed now though and blowing like an good Easterly through Aberdeen.

I too had to travel to get a dealer who could deal with 1234y gas (all be it not very well)

    Cheers
