the 2.2 can have a supercharger attached to it (same engine used in the Cobalt SS which comes with a supercharger) main reason for getting the 2.2 is that the car was being sold by a garage 10 miles down the road and I happened to know the owner of the gargae

it only changes the ratio if your rolling radius (wheel + tyre size) changes e.g. 225/45R18 will be taller than 225/45R17, if you keep the rolling radius the same then the ratio doesn't change regardless of wheel diameter

I say it's perfect fitment as it's pretty much flush with the arch and won't poke out so no it won't be an MOT failure and yes that with the 225 tyre

17 inch wheel 8 inches wide and et 35 is the offset, standard is 48, you could put 225/45 on the standard wheel but you would get a fair amount of sidewall flex, 225/45R18 would throw out the speedo, you'd need to go 225/40R18 to get it close to stock as possible

17x8 et 35 would be perfect fitment and 215/45R17 will be ok just a little bit of stretch but if you don't want stretch then go 225

you mean the mustache and my customer service was excellent, the previous owner of my car swapped the final drive which I was unaware of and after 500 miles of driving a bearing in the diff was fucked due to low oil, they replaced it all under warranty even though they saw the diff had been open previously as for the audio system it's the same (bar the head unit) so no difference there

what downpipe? on an n/a car you have the manifold > over pipe > front pipe > catback

would be unique in the UK, I'm not aware of any others that have it so go for it if you like it

£50 sounds reasonable I think? it's pretty much new condition wasn't on the car long before I took it off and been sat in my cupboard for a long time pondering what to do with it, of course you'd need new 3m sticky tape to attach it onto the car I'm not sure how much postage would be but I'm aiming to be at the TD open day on the bank holiday that I could always take it to there if either of you were going to that

They are some great looking wheels, think I will be going for them at some point
