keelerad 256 Report post Posted September 17, 2013 Remember people we get about 100 to the £ so knock 2 noughts off for a rough estimateThat makes the stuff look mega expensive, but its all down to the crap exchange rateNow Japanese Wages haven't fallen off a cliff like the £ exchange rate has so effectively the JDM stuff appears about half as expensive to them, also all Brit stuff appears to now cost half as much as it used to, so good for UK exports for anything that we still bother to make(Bloody "Service Industry" doesn't make anything except money for its shareholders)Alec the Engineer who wishes we still made stuff as a nationp.s. and this during a period when Japan has been hit by Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear disaster, just shows how well our government and their friends the "traders" in the City are looking after the pound :mad: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
