Nimz 70 Report post Posted December 11, 2017 Hi all, Could anyone who is running 20mm or 25mm hub-centric spacers please let me know if the standard wheel studs protrude beyond the spacer? Just asking to see if I can run wheels without recesses on the rear to accommodate wheel studs protruding further than the spacer itself. I know I could just go and whip a wheel off and measure my own studs but it's -2 outside and I'm allergic to the cold Rich
Mikey P 32 Report post Posted December 11, 2017 Yes they would protrude beyond the spacers (which is ok in stock wheels as there is a suitable gap for this in the back for wheel but means they would have to be cut off if wanting to run other high offset wheels with spacers. Varelco 211 Report post Posted December 11, 2017 25mm is ok 20mm isnt. Fits the stock wheels fine though as said above. Thats what im running currently.
Nimz 70 Report post Posted December 11, 2017 Thanks guys - so the 25mm spacer you're running is definitely flush with the wheel studs @Varelco? Do you think 25mm spacers on the front is too much - assuming the wheels are similar specs to standard? Not keen on cutting down the wheel studs but the wheels I'm looking at don't have the same rear recesses that the stock wheels have.
