K8nyx 11 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 Probably already discussed, but wondered if anyone had experience comparing a drop in filter, say a cossie or Hks, vs a full isolation chambered induction in terms of performance, both stand alone and for further mods, and noise. Would be really helpful. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Mike@TD.co.uk 467 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 A drop in replacement filter works very well. The stock air box is of a good design. We choose to use K&N filters however have used others with good results. You will get more noise from a full intake setup, however from what we've seen on the dyno the performance is very very similar. Value for money you can't beat a drop in filter. Thanks Mike
K8nyx 11 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Awesome Mike, thanks for the input. Guess I'll keep saving the pennies and pop over to get you boys to do your stage one package for me then 😊 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk 1 Mike@TD.co.uk reacted to this

I have to say, I really enjoyed the NA tuned car. The torque was there but not in your face like a turbo. Also it sets you up for turbo! 1 Foulsmell reacted to this
