un1eash 9 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 Simple one really, yellowstuff seem a quality replacement for oem without breaking the bank, anyone who's fitted them what are they like for squealing? Thanks
Dan7954 35 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 Haven't used them on an 86 but they were quiet when I had them on an mr2 turbo. Quite a lot of dust but not as much as 'endless' pads, were not quite as good either but for the price a good pad imo.
Dan7954 35 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 Just thought, my brakes really squealed a lot on the 86 and a brake fluid change helped a great deal.
Mike 458 Report post Posted August 5, 2016 Under light braking they squeal a bit, nothing major though. The yellow paint will melt on a track day though
KobayashiMaru 28 Report post Posted August 10, 2016 Not on an 86 but on a Mk2 Fabia vRS I run stock pads for 40k with no issues then put Yellowstuff on since there was a group buy on an other forum. I sold the car at 50k and the pads would need to have been changed again. Did the 10k in 5mths. I wouldn't have them again
