rob275 1817 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 As the title suggests, has anyone taken the panels out of the rear? If so how long did it take?
manny27 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 Can you clarify what you mean by the rear panels? Are you referring to to the rear trim piece where the rear speakers are situated?
rob275 1817 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 yes, either side of the rear, where the speakers are below the rear quarter windows.
manny27 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2014 You just need to remove the rubber seal tubing around the door frame, take out the rear cushion by removing the single bolt holding it on then just pull on the door card until it unclips.

Keethos 842 Report post Posted January 7, 2014 Just a note when trying to remove the rear seat, once you unbolt and try and lift the seat out, you have to push down at the back of the cushion to unhook it.
rob275 1817 Report post Posted January 12, 2014 Worked a treat, removed them this afternoon, now my rear is empty =D
Keethos 842 Report post Posted January 13, 2014 Great stuff Rob...any pics? Maybe some more info for anyone who might also wish to remove them?
rob275 1817 Report post Posted January 13, 2014 I'll take some pics when i put it back together and write a step by step guide. It's similar to how manny said though albeit some clips not wanting to move so easily!
