Carbon Ninja 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2015 It is almost time for me to say fairwell to the GT86 as she due to go back to the dealer. She will be sadly missed. Therefore in the next month (Sept) I will need to take some parts off the car and they will become redundant. I will have the Quicksilver Exhaust and the 17" Fondmetal 9RR lightweight alloywheel for sale. Quicksilver exhaust £350 collection in Bedford You can see the clip here (This is actually my car). It is not over the top loud and infact very deep tone. During cruising the noise is civil and the car does come alive particularly in the mid range and the top. Fondmetal 9RR 17" x 7 Alloywheel £350 collection in Bedford. These are not cheap or your usual low quality wheel. They are heat treated to T6 condition (which will be better for durability and fatigue resistance) As non heat treated wheel of the same design will means the life expectancy will be alot less (cracks). These wheels are same OE width but 2mm greater offset. Doesn't sound alot but the improvement is apparent in cornering (a little less tail happy) I deliberately choose this offset with OE tyres without ruining the fun factor. They are also lighter compare to OE wheel (9.1kg) vs Fondmetal 9RR (7.45kg). There fore saving of 1.6kg per corner. Pickup improvement is apparent.
