Any plans for the rear TRD splitter?I'm not a huge fan of the TRD so my original plan was to go for the aero rear spats.
-
So now there's a nice Invidia R400 (The first in the UK?) taking up space in the spare room. Hopefully it'll be on this weekend.

Ops sorry for the slow answer. I assume it's real, I bought the car with it already on.On 04/07/2017 at 9:19 PM, Nicebiscuit said: Is that a 'real' TRD wing on that or a clone? It looks good. I might have to invest in one of those, not least as it'll hide the ding some muppet has put in the top of my bootlid :-(Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks good, what did you use to cover up the stone chip?

Better Pictures and a slightly revised rear ride height are here, although i think I definitely need to find a better location and improve my photography skills Provided I can make my mind up, I should have an exhaust on the way by the end of the week

Coilovers are finally on with a set of new Advan V105s, it sits a bit too high for my liking at the rear so hopefully I'll get that sorted out tomorrow then get some better pictures

Are those holes drilled in the bumper?

Spotted at the All Mods June meet in stratford

Which coilovers did you settle on in the end?

Matte black centres and gloss black lip?

Looks awesome in black, I'd love Meisters on mine

The TRD lip comes up around the grille and has a built in Jap size plate holder so it's just held on with plate tape

JDM Black trim fitted

For your front plate an import size one looks good, I've got a 13"x7" plate on mine but that's on the TRD front

Does anyone know if there's a difference between the standard speakers in the GT86 and BRZ or is it just the headunit? Coming from the BRZ standard Fujitsu unit to the 86 touch and go I've noticed a night and day difference in the sound quality. In the BRZ I never felt that I needed to put an amp in or change anything, but the 86 seems to lacking way too much bass even afterr changing the EQ settings.

I've fitted my TRD Kit and import size front plate, and taken off my stripes. Now I'm just waiting for my black trim to be delivered along with my coilovers so I can get my RPF1s back on, then it's time to try and decide on an exhaust
Also a quick comparison to the BRZ from the same angle

I might have missed it but what exhaust is that you've got?

Small update, I test fitted the TRD lip to make sure it covered the holes left from the number plate clips, which it did, then swapped my reverse, door and plate lights for LEDs

Just mask off the area around it, otherwise you get little bits of overspray and it's just a little annoying to get off, put 5 coats on, 15 minutes between each coat, then let the last coat sit for 20 minutes and just peel off the bits you don't want. Thin coats.
Really not something to be afraid of, I got my plasti dip off Ebay for £11 a can if you were curious
Awesome, I'll definitely have to try that
-
How hard was it to plastidip the badges? I'm thinking about doing it on mine as I can't seem to find black toyota badges anywhere
