Is that plus VAT though Lauren?Demon Tweeks have it up at £175. I paid £214 for mine there a bit over a year ago. YMMV I guess.

I paid £214 too. Sound like list price.
Happy enough though and glad I tried it on first.

Any chance of a picture please? Thanks all, cheers Fensport another next day faultless and well packaged item. Just fitted Valenti smoked rear lights, look Awsome on my pearl white and yes very bright, will take the chance on the MOT in November, might keep OEMs till then just in case I have to change to get through. Next purchase smoked reverse tail light, just need a fitting utube link as I think it's not as plug & play as rear smoked.

Congrats Keith, you sound very proud..
Bet you will spoil her rotten!

So, I went to Grandprix race wear today and bought a bell open face helmet as recommended by Lauren.
Really glad I went as size was smaller than my normal lid.
Great guys to deal with and I was like a kid in a sweet shop, found it hard to resist.
Nearly ready now for round one TSS

Glad you had fun today!
They are fun on the road but wait until you take it on track, that's when I really "clicked" with mine.Awesome cars.
Hope it's not too long before you find something!

That's the one I'm looking at Lauren!I got this one a little over a year ago: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/helmets/bell-mag-1-helmet
It's perhaps not the lightest, but it's very comfortable and is FR of course. It even has the post for Hans if you felt so inclined.
Thanks to all for advise

Went to Haynes on way back from holiday last year and must say its has changed massively!
It now has great facilities and the cafe is very good.
Museum is good and there is even stuff for the kids to do and enjoy.
Would be a good place for SW and South girls and boys to meet up.
Thanks Buzzard, I'll see if I can make it.

Thanks for the offer Kevin, I'm normally an fan of Arai from my bike days but as I now need a car specific helmet I'm going to change brand. This causes problems because my size in an Arai is different in a bell, shoei or others.I got a couple of lids if you wanna try sizes, not far from you.
Gunna have a trip out Tuesday to Silverstone to make a purchase.

Sounds a dangerous place to go!I got mine from there. They're really helpful.
Plus there's plenty of motorsport porno around, race cars, gokarts, piccies on the wall of famous patrons, a nice place to buy your gear.
I think I might be spending a bit more than planned then! Thanks for the heads up Stan.

I've found a place based at Silverstone (Grandprix Racewear) thats only just over an hour from home so will give them a try.
As its a helmet I really need to try it on, comes from buying bike helmets in the past and getting it wrong even when I know my size!
Each Manufacturers seem to be slightly different.
Will post how I get on in case others are interested.

Does anyone know a shop where I get can a helmet local to Basingstoke that will conform with the regs required for TSS?
Bike helmets don't have the fire retardant as I've tried that route already.
Don't really want to travel all the way to demon tweaks either if I can avoid it.
Help required please..
Ta.

Like the look of this Tilly.
As another TRD owner would be interested to see results of exhaust change.
Are you planning on keeping it quad tipped?

No sale....
Must try harder.

See you on track soon by the sounds of it!
Youll love the car on track, it needs it to bring out its full potential. It's where they belong!

I am right in thinking that I would be in N2 class as i have a TRD that is standard apart from a K&N air filter and remap?
Standard wheels and tyres and suspension also (at the moment).
I have plans to change suspension over soon but am hoping this would mean still being in N2 class, could someone confirm?
Oh and I'm entering whatever class I'm in!
