I paid for the first Blyton sprint but didn't make it becuase I was ill, so this second Blyton sprint will be the first one I will actually drive (assuming I don't get ill again!) - so does it count?

Had a fantastic day and was good to put names to faces etc.

bump. What are the plans for food tonight? Ramada doesn't have a sophisticated menu and it's quite expensive

We just heading off now so should be there about 6pm so can suss it out then but unless it's really bad think it easier to eat in the hotel than everyone having to drive somewhere and find somewhere to park a group of cars....

We used to take a tarpaulin to put overnight bag and stuff from car under while racing but now take a small pop up tent after everything got drenched at Snetterton early in the year when we had torrential wind and rain

Me and Kevin have just booked at the Doncaster Encore as well so looks like the alternate socialising will be happening there!  (sorry Lauren it means you won't escape Kevin's usual banter after all!!!)

Ooh now there's an idea - and I have some spare stickers..... Don't think we are going to JAE - rather a long way for Kevin to ride (although would be fun to see him dressed as either a cowboy or an Indian on his horse!!!)

I found the same with Aviva - I added new wheels, exhaust and coilovers and the insurance only went up by £20. I was also very pleased when my son passed his driving test a few months ago and found out I could add his car to a multicar policy with Avivia (with the insurance for his car in his name) and it would only cost £700 - most insurers were charging at least £1500 for a  teenage new driver with no experience.....
