It would help your sale if you put up what make the steering wheel is and also a price in the title which you can do by editing. Forum rules are that you put a price up. If it was £400+ new and looks to be in excellent condition then really it's a matter for you take  punt on what you think it's worth.

I don’t know what the make is. That’s why I’m asking for help. I didn’t want to put it in the for sale section because I don’t know much about it which is why I put it in the general chat to find out more information about it.

hopefully Ian can remember what make it is? Iv been through all the receipts and can’t seem to find one for the wheel.

  2. Hi all,

    *EDIT*

Torqen part carbon steering wheel for sale. Will take £400 ono. Excellent condition.

I can post but will cost extra due to the Covid situation. If you would like to collect I am located in coventry.

as you all may know I purchased Ian’s GT86 and trying to make my own mark on it, hard to do since it is a nice motor, So in the future will sell a few bits. First off will be the steering wheel.

    thanks!

Always check the user manual first. And the above answers are right. I would not recommend you to use old fluid as its hygroscopic and has a limited shelf life , once opened.

Pretty sure you can just use brake fluid, DOT4 should be fine... It might even state it on the filler cap.

On the filler cap just says brake fluid, don’t state which grade. I do have some Mobil dot 4 about so may top it up with that then. 👍🏻

The Ginger Special lives on!  Hope you enjoy it, we had it in the lineup of 6 recently at Denbies.

I am so far mate! Still getting used to it at the minute though, but it’s certainly fun to drive!

  8. Hello again guys.

Just to let you know I went and viewed Ian's car last Sunday, ended up buying it and picked it up Wednesday just gone.

Hopefully when COVID is over I can attend some meets once I have put my own stamp on the car.

    thanks for the welcome again.

  9. Thanks for the welcome guys.

Yeah I saw them two orange ones for sale, at the minute if everything goes okay I will be viewing Adams tomorrow some time! Nice to hear that he looks after it which is a winner.

I did look at buying a stock one and going down the turbo route myself but I’m a big kid and can’t wait so I want to buy one with it installed already

  10. Thanks appreciate the welcome guys.

I came from 3 civic ep3s before I had my 1 series, still got my recent civic though, and still enjoy driving that some times. Bmw is boring tbf, IMO anyway!

Hopefully I will get a boosted one soon!
