  3. i have a 14 plate car,   the gearbox is fine when driving, however i know what you mean about putting it into first,

I wouldnt call it a bang more a clunk as in the gears dont line straight up away

HU an rear lights are ok so far tho

  4. I've been looking into this since fitting the Sprintex to allow so heat to escape, haven't come across much as of yet...

We had alot of discussion for this on the 16vminiclub.com,  fitting bigger engines in tight spaces and problems with over heating,   some people thought it would help reduce engine bay temps.

Some smart people involved with race teams with wind tunnels and all the other stuff did some tests and it turned out raising the rear edge of the bonnet did naff all if anything made engine bay temps slightly worse(hotter)  it only did anything when the car was static and at that not much.

Cant find the thread now but il keep looking :)

I would say that even these vents on the varis is only for looks and wouldnt do anything for engine bay temps im afraid

  5. Thanks all. Got the rear lights from Ebay a while ago, called himself something the God I believe, will have to check :). And Adamb, the 86 logo's are iron on cloth patches that I got a mate to do for me, if you are interested look up Jonathan Short on my Facebook account and he will do you some, no problems. Must admit the wheels take a bit of cleaning but after 4 different changes I'm happy with the Lenso's, for now :P

i know the sort you mean, are they holding onto the seats alright? not peeling off? and how much were they or did you get mates rates? haha

Il have a quick look for him tho and shoot him a message :)

  6. id say paint the part that sits on the boot ginger, keep the top middle black, or carbon wrap it,   then do the same on the roof :) make it look like long lines with the colours matching

but i agree with people nice wing i like it
