Wow!! That's a long time frame in which you could have easily had an incident and not been able to record it. There are plenty of guides online on how to hard wire a dash cam if you're unsure, if you want feel free to PM me and I'll see if I can link you to something helpful

Yeah take the money and get out of there! No point having it repaired for 1.6k, it's too late now if it hasn't had a service in 9 years. I would wager that you'd be seeing more problems with it in the future too.

I've not taken mine on a track day yet but I was thinking about this recently actually. Let me know how your first session goes, I'm a little reluctant to go on my own but if you sell me on this then I might have a bash myself.

Such a shame mate I'm really sorry to be reading this. I can't believe the same thing happened to your Auris as well - that's just plain unlucky! I'm surprised you didn't murder the second van driver after this already happened to your GT86.
Also, if it's any interest, if I were you I'd wait slightly longer for your car to be in better hands. It's just not worth going to a random body shop and risking potentially getting a bad job done!
As for the first man in the van... I hope he stats checking his blind spots before merging in future.

Did she live to tell the tale? 🤣

I had a renault twingo given as a courtesy car years and years ago when my old car was unfortunately written off (R.I.P ) back when I was younger.
To be fair to it, it was fairly nimble for what it was, but I hated it.

Absolutely class! Although the "wintery" conditions aren't as "wintery" as of late, it's been a blast to glide about in the ol' girl.

I'm thinking of getting one myself. Do any of the stop locks from the rac shop look suitable for a gt86? https://www.racshop.co.uk/car-security
p.s - sorry I couldn't answer your question yet mrninja. Currently asking about as to what stop lock will be best for a gt86 but I'll let you know once I find the one.

Sounds great, do you use this as a daily or a runabout?
Identification request - what component is this?
