Apparently ots the extension cable. Some pins were loose and one cable was not connected to the pin also. Works better now. Better of you check yours.

Exactly. My dealer is not touching it. I didn't know that you have the similar. Mark aware of the problem. So nothing to worry as it looks like its a common issue.

At last managed to shot the video after 6 months or so... There is a fluctuation problem occurring randomly. Please follow the link to watch.
When it happens car shakes like crazy and smells petrol everywhere. Also I can smell burned rubber smell under the bonnet. It's giving me hard time. Doesn't matter if the wheather is hot cold or warm. Doesn't matter if the engine is cold or warm. Just happens randomly however the reason is a mystery for now.
Maybe the video helps...

OMG Lauren.... You wrote a book. I literally considered Rav4 for myself buy stuck in between land cruiser, discovery and rav4. İ guess I'll wait a bit more but thank you for this brilliant review. I guess Rav4 impressed you a lot which made you write this review. Thanks one more time...

What? You still have a budget after what you've done to your GT86?Interesting.... but way beyond my "additional car" budget, alas...
I've been viewing second hand Kia Sedona's and Hyundai Santa Fe's during the past few days.
I'm looking for a daily drive (rather than use the GT86 which is racking up the mileage) which will double up as a soon-to-be- two grandkids safety barge ... plus there's the possibility that I might use a trailer to take my car to/from TSS and other trackdays, so I need a boot to take the bits..
That requires a 1500kg tow rating... so a 2.4l diesel would be about right... add the TDI tuning box and it takes it to another level.. heh..

Yeah... Very true like most of us. Washing must be done in summer only lolDon't be fooled Alec! Its only because I treated her to a wash after fitting the new parts, it's a rare occasion with the weather the way it is at the moment!

Alcantara is a good idea but probably similar to original carpet will do for me.

Oh it's because I had to finish before the sunset. No other reasons. Now I can search for proper material even though I can remake the whole cover but of course this will take time. I just wanted to finish until end of the day.

Lol I thought about this. Head swaying dog etc... Lol but i put a piece of aluminium sheet under the self sticking felt so it's going no where.could always stick some plush toys or something fun in the smaller gaps to fill the void and use the hole to secure them so they don't go flying

Thanks everyone for your support and encouragements. I published this as helper. Please bear in mind that I am not a professional. I know many people out there can make much better. I tried to do something works and ease my boredom. Thanks for watching...
PS: most importantly this mod is reversible.

Nothing was broken. Clips are holding strong but when you try to pull then they come off with no hassle.
