Laminova heat exchangers

Totally agree. The only downside of sprintex is the heat. And definitely agree with financial issues. In the other hand, I was thinking about more boost but I think internals needs changing to balance the pressure. Alas, I keep asking why should I put more power while I have enough etc... Looks like I didn't make my mind up yet. But yeah, true. More power means more money, consumes, less longevity. Since its my daily driver, I don't want to spend more. Especially the life I'm in is not at its best for the moment. I was wondering if it's possible to improve heat exchanger in sprintex. Maybe another layer of those pipes (cannot remember their name atm)

I wonder how is it going to affect the figures. Last time when I talked to Mark, he told me that sprintex is on its limits for mine. I had 2 different headers. One from H&S custom made and the other is HKS. They both was equal by bhp but HKS has 15 more torque. So my first upgrade is going to be getting a different blower, when I can of course...

He's still got sprintex, hasn't he?

Yes that's what I meant. Performance limited (either mid or top end respectively) in between 2 models AFAIK

Hey allMy brother and I have wired this up as per the modbargains tutorial...
Tap 1: light blue bumper to blue tail loom - this makes V light and fog light come on when headlights engaged
Tap2: extra red in bumper to red wire of tail loom - as standard this makes the dumb fog light flash three times on braking
whatever happens, at present with above set up, when headlights are on, both the V and the fog are always on!!!
so I checked it this video below and went for option THREE to get the V light only with the tails...and the red light to work as a brake light provided it's tapped to the red wire in the tail loom as above
however I need to get the fog wired in to the car to pas MOT
Disconnecting the red to red tap leaves me with a red wire straight to the fog light!! After changing light internals to version 3 of above video
BIG QUESTION
where is the fog light cable in the back of the car from the steering wheel
In the boot, Valenti bumper light connects to a harness with a pink, black and yellow cable. Maybe the yellow is the rear fog? Is this right? I'm just guessing as YouTube vids of yanks cars don't have three wires so no one has described it.
if so, all I need to do is tap the extra wire from the bumper light to the right wire and we have a rear fog and NO silly extra brake light.
please help guys...loosing will to live
I don't know where the cables are but why don't you follow the original socket? Also you can follow the fuse?

@Bfranklyn86 No, initially I was going to but the Cobra HFC in but then just went with them putting their own HFC in. It's pricey, but it's a bit of a work of art, it's not a Japspeed manifold at the end of the dayl... Picture of it finished, i'm too excited to get some figures out of it.Isn't there any limitation due to 4 to 1 layout?

That's how I thought so. Same thing happened to my cousin. Keys stolen from his bed side while he's sleeping. Then they emptied the house in his car and wander. I'm so sorry to hear what happened. But insurance would bring some light to this, isn't it? Not completely dark I suppose.

How did this happen? Are the cars. Ot secure enough? How about the alarm(s)? Sorry to heat that...

My first one had crack. 2nd one is going strong. Milltek replaced under warranty. Resonated? Well, depends on your manifold. Can be very loud tho.

Got the filter last 4 years. Very happy with it. Change when it goes dark.

strange but thought no one answered. I think something wrong with my phone. Just seen all the replies. I am sorry for belated thank you all...

Hi everyone. I've got an interesting question. What is the ideal weight range of an 18" alloy wheel for our cars? I am trying to find an answer but no luck. I know lighter is better but I just cannot stop thinking.
-
I just realised that actually. Just add water?

You should see my face lol

I consider myself a little LUCKY lol

We all gave up on around £27000 for our cars...

Hey people... I fixed it. It was really a silly thing but it's always better to be cautious than sorry, isn't it?
There are 4 screws on the sensor piece attached to the intake manifold. All were loose. Tightened them up and VIOLA! Noise has gone. I wonder why the screws (4 of them) were lose?
Thank you one more time for your concerns.

Not yet. Mark thinks it's an air leak but car has to go to Abbey. Cannot do much atm.

Definitely! I am not going to drive. I sent an email to Mark already and waiting for his reply. Cheers people. I will update the post for the future who might in need.

Oil is on the line. Never over filled. So I consider kinda lucky in that manner but again, it is very difficult to see on silly dip stick.
I've sent an email to Mark and waiting his reply definitely. Strangely, this screaming noise is loud when idling but quieter when rpm goes higher. Since it is dark and very cold, cannot do anything about the belt and also I have no tools here. All I need to know is if it is dangerous to drive like this. I had to drive earlier (probably few hundred yards) and realised the sound that time. Strangely, no boost loss. (I didn't push hard or anything) Didn't feel any difference on driving but the noise.

I really don't know what to do. I don't want to drive but also Mark is too far away. Also have to go to work in the morning, too. Really stuck... Wonderful Sunday evening! not!

How can I disconnect the belt?
