Hello and welcome for another fellow West Midlander

As per the title, Grimmspeed Oil Filler Cap... very good condition... only for sale as I've gone for something that is more suited towards my engine bay These can cost over £100 new £75 posted to UK mainland or £70 collected from Stratford-upon-Avon

I've got a stock touch screen unit sat in my garage from when I went aftermarket. It was only in the car for a couple of years (around 4k miles) so it's seen very little use You're more than welcome to it for the right price

just found the advert on my computer... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1628702690591233/ ...can now see it does look lowered, other than that, the window tint and the vinyl I can't really see anything else that would suggest anything major modification wise? Possibly the exhaust? although I still recon it's standard myself. Red calipers (unless non-standard) can be painted with a can of Halfords paint, and the red wheel nuts are a simple 'mod' The interior is definitely completely OEM

doesn't look modified, other than a bit of black wrapping, just looks like a standard Aero GT86 to me...

What to do with frozen windows?
chris_9011 replied to Daninplymouth's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I always keep an old credit card/store card/clubcard/etc to hand and run it down in between the seal at the top of the metal part of the door and the glass before opening the car... this is to separate the glass from the seal before you open the door, as the window drops slightly on opening. I've found that if you don't do this and the glass sticks, it can take a little while for the windows to work properly. My best purchase for the winter has been a top car cover that only covers the roof and glass sections, it keeps the frost away from the vitals on a morning... -
does anyone know if these can be adapted to fit an aftermarket Pioneer App-Radio head unit? I have both fitted, but can't for the life of me find a way of getting them to talk to each other...
-
that's annoying... I'm going to a RWYB day at Santa Pod that day, else I'd have come along
-
I've got a HKS V2 supercharger kit on mine, with Borla UEL headers and a stainless exhaust and mine sails through the MOT at respectable MOT test centres...
-
hate to say, but I find the only thing you should put on your windscreen is RainEX... if you have polish, wax, or anything else similar to that you will find that when it starts to rain, the product may smear across the screen reducing visibility. RainEx is brilliant stuff, and the only thing that touches my windscreen
-
oh, and if you drive the car, unfortunately there's no getting away with small stone chips in the glass... mine's had a new windscreen last year, covered only 4k miles since, and looks like a starry sky at night when there's car lights shining through it...
-
...don't forget to go up and down, and if you're feeling really adventurous, go side to side too!! seriously though, and yes, I do mean seriously, a circular movement from the top corner, across the windscreen, and then slowly move down and come back across. Repeat this until you've covered the whole of the screen, then buff with a paper towel or something similar. You could also use a lint free microfibre cloth, but use one to apply the cleaner (whichever you decide to use), and one to remove the excess and buff to a shine

or white vinegar

As per the title really, I hit a deer a few months ago and thought I got away with it... but I think it's broken some of the tabs on the bumper, and put a small split in the plastic just above the grill, as it's now started to sag off the car... If anyone has a spare front bumper in standard pearlescent white laying around that they no longer need, I'd happily take it off their hands I could also do with a pair of front wings in the same colour... if you have both, or even just one, that you're willing to part with, I'd very much appreciate a reply as paint matching pearlescent paint is going to be a right PITA Cheers, Chris

2015 Mini Cooper Countryman... ...slow, hideous, rattly, uncomfortable ...no acceleration, couldn't overtake anything unless it was stationary ...didn't handle worth a damn ...same size as my old family Ford Focus, but felt about half the size inside ...no room in the boot for anything ...and f**k ugly!! I had a 2004 Mini Cooper S that I loved to drive, it handled better than most other cars I've driven, was pretty quick, and accelerated well ...but the Countryman was the complete opposite. I'd rather walk than be given the keys to another one of those.
