I was one of the Moderators on the MR2OC for many years (first took up position in around 2004) prior to me selling up a couple of years ago and buying the GT86, I've also helped to organise the OC's club stands at JAE for the past 8 years... I'd like to get more involved with the GT86 owners as I did with the MR2 folk, so if I can help in any way I'd be more than happy to lend a hand

Pop it up in your attic for a few years, they'll be pretty sought after in 5-10 years once the standard ones start falling apart... that's what I've done with mine

As far as I am aware, 5 Axis stopped making the bodykit for the GT86 not long after production started, after an influx of bad copies flooded the market... ...that said, there are apparently 5 or so of the original kits here in the UK, I know I have one of those on my car. There is another on an orange car (I believe the owners name is Ian?), and I have seen a black car with one on for sale possibly 6-12 months ago. I can imagine that they are like hens teeth now, and very, very rare. You may be lucky and find one, I hope you do as they are one of the nicest, most subtle kits for the GT86 in my opinion.

Sorry guys, missed this one... I even washed the car this morning in preparation... hope it was a good day, and I hope to make the next one
-
Something's come up that means that I may only be able to make it for an hour or so now... I'll probably come along, meet some folk, then disappear soon after
-
I'll come along and say hello... it'll be my first official GT86 meet
-

this is still one of my favourite photos of my car... it went for a warranty repair looking like it did in the second image, the garage gave it a proper detail 'on the house'
-
...and those wheels are currently attached to my car

I have the one from mine in a drawer in my garage if Paul can't find his

Is there an easy way to clean inside rear window?
chris_9011 replied to The Minion's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
I've got something similar to this... https://www.amazon.co.uk/DEDC-Windscreen-Cleaner-Cleaning-Kichens/dp/B01GCN37OY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1504518170&sr=8-2&keywords=windscreen+cleaner ...that I bought from poundstretcher for about £2 that works an absolute treat -

what diameters are the Samco hoses please? -
welcome, I'm too a fellow Midlander... where abouts in the Midlands are you based?
-
Driven the car around for a couple of days now, and have noticed that the brakes are pretty squeaky when low load is pressed on them, doesn't when hard braking though... is this a normal trait of the GT86, or is it something I should investigate further? It is due to go for a full service at Toyota in a couple of weeks so should I mention it to them then?

Blue Engine Cover - SOLD
-
As per the photos... if there's anything on these photos that takes your fancy let me know - Blue engine cover - Various spare parts from the engine after the supercharger was fitted - Pulleys (I've go the belt too) - Oil filler cap - Interior Door handle covers - Original Fog/Reverse Light (excellent condition) - Original Suspension Springs - Original Rear Lights (excellent condition) The car has only done 7k miles, and all these parts will have been changed a couple of years ago, so almost certainly have no more than 5k miles on them (but can't be totally certain) I really have no idea how much any of this stuff is worth, but I obviously need to put a price on the advert as per the rules so £1000 takes the whole lot, but I'm open to offers for each individual part Items are located in Stratford-upon-Avon, in the Midlands (CV37) Can post at buyers cost
-
£40 posted these cost around £90 all in to import from Japan, and this one's pretty much brand new so slightly less than half price seems fair
