How much would that cost and where's he located?

it varies car to car, obviously it isnt cheap, to cover all of the carbon on my car and the front bumper I was quoted £940, you're best off contacting him directly, search them on Facebook or from this link, he does some really really high end cars! ( his facebook and instagram are great for time passing! )

He may or may not do you a price if you say that I told you about him :) ( Alan Bennett)

A bromance? Haha Yea It will look cracking. I'll hope to god its a dry and clean drive down as the dirt is loving the sides of my car at the moment.

It seemsas though it could be haha!

Fingers crossed on the dry side! I can imagine with the wheels being out so much further than the wings ( crying with laughter emoji).

If I was you I'd get in contact with my buddy Aaron Gilbert. He owns a company called Deep Impact Detailing and does some next level paint protection film, after the film has been applied he also adds a ceramic /glass coating so it still looks and feels like paint :) will save your car from stone chips and makes it alot easier to clean.

You've got enough carbon without copying me!

It cost a fair bit, hopefully enough to stay unique in the UK ;)

Its the csl style isnt it? I saw a company selling them on ebay, i wouldn't have that style anyhow ( it looks good, it just wouldn't work with my wing plans!)

  4. UPDATE 1.75

I've been offered a very very good deal on some 2nd hand parts(only 800 miles on them!)

I'll find out more actually at japfest :3

This is going to be MEGA.

One thing I can say is that my wheels will hopefully be getting a growth spirt width ways by a whopping 1.5" all the way around, which will curr any traction issues I have in 1st gear ( which is alot 😂) and they're a very nice wheel, with a very nice brand :)

Yesterday involves a 470mile round trip to see the guys in action at TSS and also collect one of my favourite mods for the car so far

We originally ordered this towards the end of last year, only to be told that the mould wasn't right and it could take up 6 months for it to be rectified! So I got my money back and waited for updates. Gladly, Chris @Tarmac messaged me about 6 weeks ago, money was paid again and the waiting game began...I had to collect it from Chris as we didn't want to send it through the UK parcel network with it being such a large and fragile item - thankfully it's in PERFECT condition

Fitment is basically perfect, just a shame they forgot to cut the whole on the underside of the boot where the wiring grommet goes so I've got to find someone that can cut carbon nicely for me now, as I don't dare touch this with anything sharp!

This is the one piece of carbon that my car doesn't have but needs! :D how much did it cost you?

I've updated the title for this so people can see easily where and when it is now that there are some interests.....I can't believe it's just down the road from me and I can't make it because of the CAT course :(

    Thankyou, and what a pain!

I have quite a dialogue going with the man behind the magic at slammed UK, he says that there are two white gt86s that have applied, I let him knowthe rocket bunny was from the same club as me, sounnds like all of us thathave applied have got into it so far! Hopefully I should be doing a photo post for their emblem hoody tonight and it'll be on their instagram, if you get 5 minutes give them a follow guys :)

The 1UZ is all aluminium so actually weighs around the same as the FA20...literally a few kg in it

With the weight of the Sprintex supercharger being considerably more than the Rotrex, I reckon it'll be almost the same! I'll definitely have to get a weight taken once it's all done

Yeah I'd love to get a proper side by side comparison with a stock GT86 and even a tuned one. I think the noise will be my favourite part though

We'll have to do a side by side exhaust video :P I managed to shame my cousins 650bhp decatted 996 turbo at the weekend, he's now on the hunt for a better exhaust system :)

  8. This looks awesome! Whenever I hear v8 swap I just hear ' Heavy Nose' unless it's small like the Jun/synergy 2.4L v8 that revs to 10k :3
I look forward to hearing/ seeing the outcome from the person living with it though, it'd be interesting to have a side by side comparison in life and text rather than a youtube video of some all american video :)
